Is there anyway I can disable the part where it tries to force me to buy a community designed skin everytime I buy a car? I’d much rather just get the car in the default color and paint/design it later if I want. I am on PC
Can’t you press a button to go to the color menu? I remember being able to do that.

On Xbox you just press Y to get to choose the colours

Yeah you can do that. I just was hoping there was a way to skip the process where it tries to load 40 different paintjobs for me to skip through and just sell me the default color of a car. Painting them is free anytime, so I don’t see why I have to pick a color right there. I’d be alright if it was just color picking, like if it would default to color selection. I will likely never pick someone else’s design, so I was hoping to just be able to skip it with a menu selection somehwhere
But it only takes 2 seconds to get to the manufacturer colours, and you can very easily just quickly pick the default one. I can’t fathom not wanting to browse colours though.

If you buy your cars from the ‘Car Collection’ screen, you won’t have to select any designs or colours. It just instantly purchases the car and skips all of the menus you don’t want to see.
You won’t get in the car when you purchase it though. You will have to find it in your garage and select ‘get in’.

I think they should switch it around. Manufacturer’s colors first or hit ‘Y’ to see user paint schemes.

This. Most people want to put a normal colour.
