I just joined a Goliath race that finished in 1:30 got a bunch of spins/unlocks and a at least one car and some cash.
I don’t care about peeps cheating but I want to make sure I don’t get banned cos someone is cheating.
I unlocked this lastnight and kept going for this “50 lap ” with no indication to what it was, they kept ending in 30 seconds, I finally gave up after like the 5th time or so, but kept getting money and stuff. am I to worry that because I am an idiot and got duped my account is now at risk? I am unsure how to get rid of all the wheelspins and stuff it gave me, I tried to spin to remove them but that’s going to take ages and the money, I dono what to do with. bit scared for my account here, since I am plainly an idiot and would never cheat or use a glitch as I love the forza series.
Unless you’re aware of the issue which the majority of people ARE NOT then I doubt people joining these races will be affected. People hosting the races however is another story.
There are millions of FH4 players and I doubt even 1% read this forum.
PG should have identified the glitch and patched it ASAP instead of advertising it in their series 7 update as a maybe we’ll fix this like wall riding…
for? I had no idea what the world was going on, figured it was my game, stopped and restarted it several times but it continued, so ended up looking at reddit and noticing this was a glitch issue with the game it’s self and decided right then to not do anymore of the random invites. so I should be banned for not knowing what was going on. good one.
tldr;lesson learned dont accept random invites to a issue happening in the game that in all my years experiencing the forza games I have never seen done as I had not played much online before this, hopefully they will take a look at most peoples account and realize we are not an issue, they can take everything back that was given, just hoping they would not ban us.
"I did not know what was going on, I tried approx 100 times to join those 50 laps Goliath races and I was really, really keen on doing 500 minutes of Forza in one sitting. Trust me, even after 20 times I thought it was just me. Now I have the rewards that normally take 600 hours, but that is ok, right? right? I won’t get banned, right?
By the way, it happened to me once, I saw very late that 50 laps of Goliath were configured and the race ended after 30 seconds. And guess what, I saw the difference between 500 minutes and 30 seconds and stayed away from 50 lap Goliath races from there on. Imagine my intelligence, after one single race I knew what was going on!
In my humble opinion, everyone who tries to scam the community this way should not be banned, but start from 0 once it is fixed. yeah right, without cars, without credits… and VIP should been gone as well. But I know what will happen, so don’t be afraid: nothing! It has always been that way. The reward for loyalty, doing the right thing is staying behind everyone else.
I was trying to do the “3 Goliath laps in a FE car” achievement …gave up on the invites and just created my own blueprint …
3 laps of Goliath is quite intense - I don’t know how these people do 50 … I think I would be a wreck after it
hey RK, you are using a database and you already measure lifetime credits earned and played time. Should be very easy to setup something to catch cheating players. Maybe double check on their AH activity and if they managed to play the AH to full extent.
Don’t rely on players reporting issues, find your own way to check for cheaters. With a database, it is not that hard.
Hopefully they will stop the glitch, for sure they won’t remove the points / cars or anything obtained from it, they never ever did. This glitch exists for days now, already acknowledge by staff and I am not going to spend my game time reporting tens of people proposing such races.
Solution is simple lock the goliath. it is just disabling an icon on the map, put it back when glitch is fixed.
Looks more important to me than adding challenges that are blocked to Zero because these have been put online too much in advance.
