Watching the Daytona 500 I kinda fell in love with Jimmie Johnson’s new livery. So I took a shot at recreating it in Horizon 4. It is by no means perfect but I think I got an Okay result

I think you could still do better without much work just by moving the groups into the right places. It would only take 10 minutes.
1/ “Do It Right” needs moving over the wheel.
2/ The ‘a’ shape needs lifting up higher
Personally I would also fix the number 8, but that would take a bit longer, it needs curves.
You could also fix the colours a bit, they are slightly out… not a big problem.
The thing is that my first two points are really quick to do.
I took your constructive criticisms and made several changes.
1: Moved the “do it right”
2: I shifted the “a” symbol and the colored radius around it farther up. On a side note, doing this actually took a fair number of extra elements and moving around. The C pillar on this particular car is counted as part of the side of the car and has a strange parallax to that distorts the area. Also, there is a small bald spot at the base of the C pillar that can not be covered by vinyls so there is a thin black line there. The only solution to that I could think of would be to paint the car pink and cover the entire car in black vinyls under all of the other layers, though this would risk discovering more bald spots so I would rather just live with it.
3: Added more curve to the 8 in 48
4: Removed the fuel filler circle. The area behind the rear wheel is too small to fit it in the correct spot without covering the “a” symbol and the real fuel filler is on the other side of this car so I would sooner just not have it.
5: Tweaked the colors of the shapes both front and rear (keep in mind that some inaccuracies involving colors may be due to artifacting by the in game photo mode) there was also a mismached number of colored shapes on the front vs back which was also corrected.
6: Raised the colored shapes on the front to slightly cross onto the top of the fenders to match the IRL car
7: Completely re-did the hood as I was not happy with the earlier results.

Thanks, I just wish we had a more analogous car to paint them on. Yeah, the Buick Regal GNX is good for making classic liveries but from then to now none of the car’s dimensions are even similar to their Nascar counterparts
