Issues with leaderboard in a Monthly Rival event "Civic Challenge"

Hey everyone!

Please excuse my ignorance, but I am having this strange issue with Monthly Rivals event, specially “Civic Challenge”.

  1. When I look at the restrictions it says the car should be D class, but when I look at leaderboard everyone completed the race with R and S class. Why are they allowed to drive R and S classes?

  2. I tried to join the race, I had an S class Civic Si, it took my upgrade setup, I selected a recipe for R class and I was able to race, so, I completed the race in 1:04 with R class but the leaderboard didn’t get updated, it still shows my D class timing which is 1:15 (yes, I am very bad at forza 5, still learning).

So, why it allows other to drive R and S class when the event is D class only, and if it allows them then why it doesn’t update my leaderboard when I drive R and S class Civic Si?

Really appreciate your guidance on this.

Thank you.

It’s a bug.

Its a glitch… I like how T10 member using the glitch.

It’s pity is that they’re not doing anything to fix it

The other issue that this company needs to fix is the glitched leader board times across Circuit, Drag, and Drift boards. This is getting really old and we know the folks that glitched either did it on purpose or it was accidental because of their internet speed. BFE areas have serious lag and ruin the experience for millions of gamers.

I think the civic one is the worst case of blatant cheating I’ve seen so far, only 6 legitimate times in the top 400.
Wouldn’t be so bad if it was just the odd one or two but this many people is pretty ridiculous and if you look a bunch of people are even using the same build including a Turn 10 member :frowning:

I know I can’t be the only person to have noticed this, but I’ve searched all over and can’t find a thread that covers this specific issue, so at the risk of getting flamed for asking a question that’s been asked a million times (where?!?), here goes…

So what’s up with the rivals leaderboards including out-of-class cars? I’ve seen it in every rivals event I’ve tried, but most recently it was a Road Atlanta challenge with the 2014 Civic Si. The challenge limits me to D class/400, but when I check the leaderboards, the top 400+ times are all set by C class and up cars. All of the top times are R class!! What’s up with that?!??

In this particular challenge, I think the fastest D class time was ranked around 425 on the leaderboards. Maybe there’s a completely logical explanation for this and I’ll wind up feeling really dumb for posting the question. But until that explanation is provided, I’m gonna have to say that this looks like a pretty glaring bug. What am I missing??

It is a known issue but as of right now there has been no fix. Just run your car for the correct class and im sure some day those other cars out of class will be removed.
