Is there a reason all of my Forza content is gone?

I stopped playing for 2-3 months, and I come back to all of my liveries, vinyl groups, tunes and even pictures totally gone. I can’t even find my pictures in the Forza Hub app.

I don’t have the game updated, BUT that’s never effected anything in the past, I was able to view and even make new liveries even on non-current versions of the game. AND I only realized everything was gone because someone mentioned it in my inbox! Please help. (EDIT, I forgot to mention that my cars still have the designs and tunes that I put on them)

Did you get banned

No, atleast I hope not, I never broke any rules or made any content that broke ToS. Never got any notifications either.

First step is updating the game.

Downloading 20 gb worth of updates with a 100 kb/s connection isn’t the quickest thing ever - by the time I’m nearly done there’ll probably be even more to download. So I’m on the forums asking if this is a known issue or not.

it could be a dlc bug with stuff grayed out now having license etc. had that happen first of 2019

I just tried searching for designs with the OP’s name and nothing came up, so it looks like it’s not something they can fix at their end. I would probably contact support and ask if I’d received a temporary ban which apparently means your shared stuff gets wiped from their servers.

Support ticket is 3 days old and they haven’t replied yet. I’m also pretty sure I’d get some sort of indication of a ban, a notification or an e-mail or something. Nothing at all. Still working on updating the game.

they are on holidays , just like most other people at this time of the year

if you were banned you should have received an ingame notification

Isnt that ingame notification get deleted when ban ends, so if have been banned while dont lauch game never get notification then.

And because forza is like north korea in these days and dont let peoples talk to bans publicly this thread would just get locked.

My advise to OP is just delete game and move on other games.

Yep, apparently I got a temporary ban because my content is “sexual” even though it’s nothing I wouldn’t show a 5 year old and there’s absolutely no nudity or NSFW content.
Forza devs are a joke, no wonder I quit playing, a report system shouldn’t be this easy to exploit.
Probably made worse by the fact that I’m 90% sure the guy who makes the exact same type of liveries I do reported me so he’d have less competition.

It’s disappointing but that’s the consequence of Horizon becoming E-rated since FH3, I guess. It was in FH4 that they started taking the rating more seriously, though, and even further back in March last year in anticipation for Lego expansion.

Officially it was because the ESRB changed criteria for some stuff but it doesn’t make much sense considering the ESRB did pass the game as E-rated at launch and there’s other games like Devil May Cry 5 which was self-censored by Sony due to sexual content but left unchanged in every other platform.

Another bad thing is censoring SS badges because apparently some people are unable to distinguish between a car badge and a certain state police, which really hurt the looks of certain cars (Chevelle was the main one but also the Monte Carlo).

IMO it’s far more important to censor designs based on politics, as I don’t want to see that crap in my game, especially when it’s certain groups that push their agenda the most, and these groups love their hate speech, which goes against the community’s ethos.

It is frightening that one ‘bad’ livery means they all get erased. Even more frightening that an unrelated ban still means getting all your content removed. It goes against all basic tenets of natural justice tbh. Nobody could consider it proportionate.

That’s is the reason why i desiced to leave. Creative and helpfull peoples gets douple punishment it’s something that doesn’t go mine sense. And like i wrote in feedback in forza that swiping storefront is more penalty to community than it’s most cases for creator, what i lose is some amount of credits that are useless anyways when having 999.999.999cr while community loses all the access to stuff i have shared over the last year. So in that case who lose more me or community.

And top of that support do really good job, as my feedback that i send to them that they have lose paying customer that have play forza games since orginal forza motorsport i got exactly same message that i have got when i have send to suggestion to how to make game better

"Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us, we really appreciate it. This ticket will be marked as “Solved” as we have forwarded this feedback along to the appropriate teams for review.

We’re always looking for suggestions and feedback from the community, so if you have any further ideas to improve your experience across the Forza titles, please don’t hesitate to let us know!"

I think support guy miss the point that my forza experience got better while deleting the game and not buying any of the next titles.

But having a portfolio can help your career. There’s guys like PJTierney who already had artistic backgrounds prior to painting, but with others it’s different, the game helps them develop their art.

I mean, PTG Wildcat who is one of the greatest guys in the community was able to get his design on an actual race car (Lambo Huracán GT3 at Blancpain Spa 24h). People take their work seriously, even in a game, you don’t need Photoshop to show talent in arts.

That is a good reason to stop painting in Forza. If you really wanna do digital art, get a drawing tablet and an illustration software. There are open source options like Krita which are fine…

That’s sad :frowning: One would say Forza needs community of painters. Probably not.

Any game related problems like this should be addressed through the Forza Support site.

“If you have lost your saved data, please fill out the Lost Saved Data Ticket and one of our Community Support Agents will investigate the issue.”

he didn’t lose his save
in one of his later posts he admitted that he got banned

Disappointing that happened to you V12. I use quite a few of your tunes online and was wondering why I couldn’t find any new tunes…

Your work was appreciated, found that your tunes really reward my particular driving style.

Sad face
