Hi folks,
when upgrading a car I often choose the stock gear box just to save the PI, but sometimes - as you surely know - you have to adjust gears a bit, so you buy a race gear box. Now, if I go back to the stock gear box and have a look at the gears, they’re set exactly as I did when adjusting them in the race gear box. Gears are fine now and I can save the PI. I mean, that’s wonderful, but I was wondering if this could be a bug…
Hmm. If that is the case, it would seem to be a bug. You might also want to report your findings to forzafb@microsoft.com.
Just try it out. Yeah I’ll write an E-Mail. This might be one of the few bugs, that shouldn’t be fixed
Ok, i drove my '14 Chevy Super Sport, which had also the stock gear box and a horrible gear setting. Went to my garage, bought a race gear box, adjusted gears, installed again the stock gear box and all is fine. I have now in fact a stock gear box with adjusted gears. Here’s definitely something wrong…
This has been brought up many times. It’s not a game breaker because the ratios revert to normal as soon as you enter a race or event.

Ok I couldn’t find any threads with this topic. I didn’t know that this has been brought up many times as I only started recently writing and reading in the Forum. Maybe I’m wrong, but I inferred from Shadow Edge 's reply that he was a bit surprised. Anyway, sorry for bringing up one more time this topic. Thread can be closed…

Yes, this has been discussed more than enough
It is a bug, but as was mentioned the ratios revert back to stock upon entering a race. It must be an online race I believe though such as Multiplayer or Rivals - if you do solo it may keep the adjusted gears…
Thanks for your replies! I’m glad that nobody postet things like →
