[INVESTIGATING] Xbox One - Cannot remove certain cars from Garage

Hi there, found another issue that I felt was worth bringing up.

I have multiple cars in my Garage that I cannot remove from said Garage:

  • The [Sell Car] option is not available when I select the car.
  • The [Remove Car] option is not available when I select the car.
  • The [Auction Car] option is not available when I select the car.

This issue comes up with multiple cars, all of which I obtained as gifts from Turn 10 for participating in community-related activities:

  • 2013 Ford-Shelby-GT500 (awarded as a gift for participating in the 2017 Halloween Bash)
  • 2009 Ford-Focus-RS (awarded as a gift for participating in the 2017 Halloween Bash)
  • 2016 Lamborghini-Aventador-LP750-4-SV (awarded as a gift for participating in the 2017 Halloween Bash)
  • 2016 Dodge-Viper-ACR (awarded as a gift for participating in the 2017 Halloween Bash)
  • 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS (awarded as a gift for participating in the Josef Newgarden Bounty Hunter Rivals event)

Please investigate and allow players to remove these cars from their Garages if they choose to do so.
Ideally they should have the ability to be Auctioned but any removal method will do.

No problem, hopefully the team find something.

I suspect that all gift cars in the game are affected, but these are the only ones I have checked.

Hi again,

Following last night’s update I checked and the following cars still cannot be removed from my garage or sold:

In addition, the following have the same issue:

  • 2016 W Motors Lykan Hypersport (awarded as a gift via the Dan Greenawalt Bounty Hunter Rivals event)
  • 2011 Audi TT RS Coupé (awarded as a gift via the Dan Greenawalt Bounty Hunter Rivals event)
  • 2004 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti (awarded as a gift via the Dan Greenawalt Bounty Hunter Rivals event)

yep, at present no special reward gift cars can be removed or sold. So the Halloween Bash cars and Bounty Hunter prize cars are there permanently, unless T10 decide to change their policy :0)

Quick thread update, confirming that the December 5 update did not address this, and those cars still cannot be removed.

The following cars also cannot be removed, sold or auctioned:

2010 Ferrari 599 GTO (awarded as a gift via the Phil Spencer Bounty Hunter Rivals event)
2017 Porsche #92 Porsche GT Team 911 RSR (awarded as a gift via the Phil Spencer Bounty Hunter Rivals event)

I’m away from my Xbox currently, can somebody check if this issue has been resolved after the latest update?

If not I suspect it is an intentional design decision and see no point in bringing it up anymore…

I swear i have read somewhere on the forums that gift cars are not eligible for sale, so i would assume it is intentional?

Quick update, this can now be marked [FIXED].

Gift cars can now be removed from a player’s Garage.
