Hello to ALL,
I’d like to share my personal adventure with trying to find the perfect racing game and how T10 has played such a major role in that.
I don’t know about other kids but I was always a fanatic when it came to car modification…I had the latest games usually though I hadn’t found a game that truly stimulated my mind until the Gran Turismo 3 … I was elated for a bit with that title and GT4 though not fully happy…from time to time, NFS would release a decent title as well.
My first “decent” title: NFS Pro Street …I was able to pick up a PS3 right around the release of said game and I appreciated the car line-up, along with the different modes of racing…BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY , the customization was pretty darn fun…This NFS frenzy of mine , slowly died when a friend mentioned something about a game that you could do engine swaps…I thought , yes probably a computer simulator that doesn’t have a dev team behind it, thus buggy and crappy…Boy was I wrong…
I tried FM3 and immediately fell in love. What truly moved me was the huge variety of VW models (along with the swaps available ;)… When i say “moved me” , really want to emphasize that my wants were filled in terms of gaming for the next few months… (another small factor, was the “turbo spool” sound…)
TO be honest I think the most compelling thing about FM3 was that it actually made me purchase a brand new xbox 360 ($200) at the time, only due to my borrowed 360, causing glitches due to its age…haha…I still cannot believe I went out and bought an Xbox for a game…literally redefining the terms “complementary and supplementary”
My next major turn was FM4 … Obviously… I was in South Africa when the news started to roll out (04/2011) and the only negative thing was that said news wasn’t coming quickly enough! haha… low and behold the T10 franchise sold another VIP edition along with season pass and other extras… What was also purchased was a 32" LED …Just because …Forza 4 … haha…
Forza Horizon : Ehh… not too much to say here… I read the hype and I read the hate and honestly I think that the hate skewed my opinion quite badly…I liked it …
Forza 5 : …Good old turn 10 did it again…My pure hatred of having to buy a 500$ system to play forza 5 …Not this time… I was able to grab a $400 PS4 right at release and while that was great, I hated the fact of both line-ups being super small in terms of playables… Well…That good old friend that lent me his 360, let me borrow his “one” this time…I went out and bought Forza 5 , even if it was going to only be playable for a few days…I didn’t care… You know the rest …Career pass and all the goodies as well… Obviously a live subscription because the devils at MSFT made it only possible to download gifts/etc…if you had a active script… well yes… What I didn’t expect was that I would also run out and purchase a 50" 120HZ smart TV to play such a magnificent game… I remember my first time playing and thinking "[Mod Edit - profanity is not allowed - MM] …again spent so much money … its worth it though…pure bliss)…I’d like to formally thank T10 for ruining my final exam scores though I’ll rescind that when Forza 6 comes out haha…
Horizon 2 : Again, like its older sibling, I wasn’t too impressed … I enjoyed this one a lot more as it seemed so much more realistic , along with a sense of virtual “publicity” when it came to sharing your mechanical masterpieces , but it just seemed to miss something…something like being able to sit there for 10 hours , only getting up for pee breaks …while thoroughly enjoying yourself, in FM5…
Forza 6 : Low and behold , I’ve taken this rant way to far already though its ending soon… I personally don’t appreciate releasing the news so early as now its had me constantly yearning for more info but whatever…I just received an offer from an investment banking firm so I leave you with my most recent purchase : a Samsung smart LED 120HZ 65" , xbox one , forza 5 (AGAIN! lol) …, and speakers… My only requests in lieu of your mentioning of FM6.
#1 : constant updates so us die hard fans can get our “fix”

#2: [Mod Edit] ton of cars …I mean a ton…rivaling that of FM3 and FM4 (FM5 wasn’t bad either ) …I’m thinking over 500 cars but I’ll leave it to hope
#2.5 As a man who has purchased every single DLC pack for every T10 game, please do not hesitate to keep that trend going if it means that we get a scheduled release date for FM6 (or sooner ;)) …
#3: I would love to see more cars that aren’t really considered " race cars or even sports cars" … I honestly love comparing the slower models within a manufacturers line up though sometimes I’d like to see the following for example>> VW just released a 1.8 Turbo Jetta for 2015… I’d like to see something like this as it would be fun to compare it to ( after mods .nom nom nom…) to say a GTI…
#4: With my previous notion , I have noticed that FM upgrades could be a tad more realistic …I know for example that If I “tuned” the ECU on 2015 1.8T jetta, the HP would jump from 170 to 245 HP …and 180 TQ to 280TQ. In the end , either way is find by me as long as i get to try it 
#5: The adjustments to a car could be more realistic: for example and I may sound like a noob here but relating to previous #, I’d like to be able to tune the boost pressure on a turbo induction vehicle for fun
#6 : Another relation to post #5 , the only reason I am mentioning the increase in boost pressure is because of THE BOOST SPOOL SOUND X) x) X) …Ughhghhg… Another great thing about forza 3,4,and 5 …The boost sound … truly better in Forza than other franchise titles…
#7…I’m in pain from writing so much and couldn’t care because I fully know that FORZA 6 will be truly phenomenal … I’ll probably end up buying a 4k TV at that point if I Thought it was make the slightest difference…possibly a racing wheel chair combo…Now you guys have me thinking …Until next time!
