Interior/Tacho light still on-always

Hallo again,
Headlights on - Interior/Tacho on = correct :heavy_check_mark:
Headlights off - Interior/Tacho on = incorrect :x:
postet this mistake since FM7 with no patch till now ticket to support, nothing
postet the same thing again since FH5 release with no patch till now ticket to support, nothing
and than came the trailer of the new FM and look at this picture,
the same mistake i reported several times since FM7 is still there and again copy/paste the same fail in the new one :unamused:
let me think about it… it wont get a patch right?

I think you have it backwards, the dash lights are brighter when the headlights are off.

makes no sense
Its very sad cause this mistake wasnt there in FM 1-6 or in FH 1-4
And now its coming again and again, and no one realize that this is a mistake?

So the dashlights aren’t blinding you in low light conditions.

My car does it irl

What is the Construction year of your car?
Cause older cars till around 2010 dont have dash light active when you have turned off the headlights and thats the mistake what i mean

Some cars sold in Canada do have the dash lights active as DRL (Daytime Running LIghts) have been mandatory in Canada for quite a number of years now.

yes as i wrote it depends on the contstruction year the car have if there is light or not on the dashboard, but the interior lights are off during day even when the DRL are on
cars before around the 2010 dont have DRL it depends on you turning the lights on/off

the thing is that this mistake wasnt in Forza before FM7 and i think its a mistake cause of that, there was no light on the dash and interior when the headlights where off

FWIW, both my Canadian 1998 A4 Audi and 2005 A4 Audi had dashboard lights on with the mandatory DRL that exist here. Many cars prior to 2010 are likely in the same situation. Forza Motorsport is developed in the US so I’m not overly surprised if much of the modelling favours NAR specs vs other parts of the world.

Strange that they are only programming this way now and not in the previous parts, the error does not only affect cars that are registered in America/Canada and could have DRL, but all vehicles included in the game and that includes vehicles built before DRL sure it could be installed afterwards but why should they do it now and not then
I mean if thats no mistake why is it there only since FM7 and not earlier??

NIght mode has only existed in FM6 and FM7. FM1-5 were day only. Don’t know anything about FH that is developed by someone else but under the Turn 10 umbrella.

I know both FH and FM since FM2😉

Oh sorry my bad this mistake is there since FM6 and the first time with night and rain races. I reported it that there were all lights active always. Almost forgot it
Then came FH3 lights worked correctly,
FM7 as described and look at Maple Valley with rain conditions than its wierd cause headlights are turned off but the tail lights are on🤔
Than came FH4 also with correct working lights
And now we have FH5 and the upcomming FM with incorrect lights thats a sad thing cause they pay attention on exact/correct working/looking models or not?
