I jus picked up the game today and got all the way to the first showcase event and when I enter it says “Installing 68%…Please Wait” I had my Xbox One idle for a good half hour or so and it was still stuck at 68%. The game is completely installed on my console. Please reply with a solution or if you are having similar problems.
Same here stuck at 60% no idea what to do.
I just picked up the digital version of the game and got all the way to the first showcase event and when I enter the event it says “Installing 65%…Please Wait”. When I go to My Games/Apps it shows that the game is 50% installed. The only way to get past this Please Wait screen is to quit the game. This is one of the slowest downloading games ever. I have a decent connection (60 down and 5 up) and nothing has ever taken this long.

Back out to the dashboard, quit the game, and try it again. It ought to work fine after that.
I would home screen and load another game quit that game and go back to H2 and it should finish loading. Happened to me too bit that worked for me.
As title says - installing content. You are free to continue playing while the installation completes- 0%.
This counts for the launch pack, VIP and day one content.
Anyone else got this problem it’s been doing it since last night…
Any help will be appreciated.

I am having the same issue
Mine wont even fully install Horizon 2. It stops installation at 80 - 85 % (Ive uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times) And when I do a hard reset and try it all over, it installs quickly, but wont allow me to play the game.
So I try to access the online portion and it tells me I have to wait for things to finish installing and it says it’s at 100%. Well ok. So I go to the autoshow and look at the Jaguar F-Type and it says it’s 0% installed yet when I try to play online the prompt tells me that my update or whatever is 100% installed and doesn’t allow me to play online. What gives. I have the Ultimate Edition, and I’m really tired of not being able to access features that I paid REAL money for.

Hey everyone jut got the update trying to play online but cant join freeroam or online road trip just says installing at 100% there is nothing installing in the bg anyone have any info on this at all?

Same issue, nothing I know of to fix it yet, I’m waiting for T10 to talk about the issue.
Just now I try to host a private online session but I was greeted with the following message:
Even though it says 100%, when I click continue nothing happens. Whenever I click anything online-related it will pop the same message. I checked my queue and there’s nothing there. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Launch Day/Day One car packs, but it still won’t allow me to go online. Hard resetting the console didn’t do any difference.
Anyone else experiencing the same problem? I know my friends have the updates but they doesn’t have the same problem as mine.
HELIOS EDIT - If you’re experiencing this issue can you please do the following, this should rectify the problem:
Uninstall the game – DO NOT DELETE YOUR SAVE
Re-install the game, if using a disc ensure you are online when installing so that updates can be applied during the install.
Wait for the game and updates to be fully installed before launching the game.

Ok so I have been playing horizon 2 since UK launch day, no problems I have purchased all the passes and the ultimate edition on day 1 , the Mobil 1 car pack released and since then I have not been able to get online. It keeps coming up with a message when I try to go on saying , Installing content. You are free to continue playing while the installation completes. Next to it says 100% , when I go into the auto show and select the Mobil 1 cars it comes up with a similar message and has a 0% next to it. Now, I went to the xbox one store , downloaded and installed the Mobil 1 car pack as I have the car pass , and still the game is apparently installing and not letting me online
Someone please help me asap !!!

Exact same problem here as well. Installing content stuck at 100% and cannot play online. I am going to try uninstalling EVERYTHING and reinstalling EVERYTHING this evening. Big pain.

Same here, stuck at 0%. Downloaded the DLC manually from the Store, did absolutely nothing. Restarted the game etc. Still says 0%.

Ive got the exact same problem??? Its only just started since the Mobil 1 car pack update??
I really dont want to reinstall the game, as I downloaded it from the XBox store and it took
forever… Sort it out Forza!!
