Thanks again to the gentlemen who helped me with my delete duplicate designs issue. Sadly, I found out the hard way, that if you mistakenly delete the original design you also delete the original car. Returning to my garage, after cleaning up my duplicate designs I found out that I was missing 5 cars. Unfortunately, 2 of them were my key point earning cars, the BMW M6 and the 1954 Mercedes Coupe. No problemo (I thought ), I will just buy them and upgrade them again. Sad to say these new purchases did not come with the original Perks. No U/G to 6 then 7 links (stuck at 5) and really weak drift capabilities, and the rest of the Perks were equivalent to what you would expect from an 8 perk car hence these cars went from my Best Cars List to my Worst Cars List. Anyway, I was wondering ( as well as wandering ), are subsequent purchases of a specific car designed to have random Perks, or did I just drift into the Twilight Zone? Any comments would be appreciated.
You don’t delete cars when you delete designs… the cars just change back to a default colour. The cars you bought might not be the same cars that you had. Some cars have FE at the end which means Forza Edition. FE cars have better perks than the same car without FE on it. There are other identical cars as well such as the pre-order cars. Also people can use perks before they sell cars in the Auction. Also PG Games did change the perks a couple of months ago.
Apart from those things nothing should have changed.
That should not be the case. If you delete a design that is applied to a car in your garage, it will bring up a dialog to make sure you want to delete it. If you say yes, it will remove the design, and the livery on the car in your garage will revert to the default.
Did you previously have the M6 FE rather than the standard M6? The M6 FE is a great car for earning skill points, but it can’t be bought from the autoshow. I haven’t looked recently, but they used to be readily available from the auction house.
Thanks. Yes that was probably it. Since others insist you cant delete a car via a design deletion then I assume all 5 cars must be there. At 76 years, I prefer to color code my cars by the design then find them that way. not realizing they would return to the default design after deleting my design. I am going to check properly by name now.
