I guess childish triggered comments are your way of “contributing”. lol I guess I’m just “ignorant” because I can do something quickly and choose to not whine like a baby about it. You’re hilarious. lol lol lol
I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but is the garage limit still on 750 cars?
I have some duplicates but not that many and even though I lost a few cars in the last couple of months since I could barely play first because I have a first need job (in pandemic times) and because I also had the Sonic Studio problem (game crashing at the start after grey screen, and no time to investigate it), the fact is that I have already 749 cars before this week races that can get me another 2 cars.
So, do I have to sell a few or this limit has now increased? I may be wrong but I dont have that many duplicates… Do anyone knows how many unique cars there are?
Number of unique vehicles is presently 692 which includes Owens McLaren. Players can photograph Owens McLaren via blueprints but very few own it.
I’ve sold all my duplicates but would have liked to keep some of them. I suppose the necessity of increasing the Garage Limit depends on how long PG plans to support the game and supply new vehicles.
Well, rising the bar to 10 units (760) to max cap will be nice. Main problem with duplicates are that certain cars, well, fit great in 2 different classes or in same PI class but in different race’s type or have a specific build for online or for events. Or you keep one more cause your friend can’t do the event/lost his saves. Cause let’s say it, except for B (and lower) class, you need specific build. And switching for setup to another setup is much slower than change your car. So have 2 cars is way more practical.
PS: P1 Owen actually could appear in AI races (at least was in the past), so actually i can made a screen. Not happens often, it’s rare, but happens.
I think increasing the garage space is becoming more of a necessity. Even with removing duplicates and cars I don’t really use anymore, it’s hard to keep up. If the upcoming car list holds true, then it will be physically impossible to own every car in the game without a garage space increase.
No one should have to settle on the fact that they won’t be able to have every car. Ever since the very first racing games, unlocking and collecting vehicles is a big part of the genre, and that’s especially true for Forza. I played an original Xbox game called Ford Vs Chevy and to this day, I find it annoying that you can only drive one brand per profile; if you want to drive the other brand’s cars you have to create a brand new profile.
Ok, I figure not everyone is going to have this problem but, Why on earth would we have 700+ cars but we can only paint 500 max. This has been irritating me for a while and kinda ruins the game for me. When will this be fixed?
The way the number of available cars in the game is nearing the garage limit reminds me of Forza Horizon’s and Project Gotham Racing’s predecessor Metropolis Street Racer, where you had only so many garage slots and had to give up one of your existing cars each time you unlocked a new one.
Puzzles me that Ghost Games could do it while rushing their games to the extreme yet T10/Playground can’t even give us 2,000 cars or so. I understand the need for a cap because of Xbox Live, but surely it could be way higher than it is now?
What hurts the most is the design limit. As a lover of cars, I can’t even paint all of them with custom designs. Tune limit can be circumvented because you only save your tune in a separate file if you want to, but with paints this doesn’t happen and usually the design slots amount for, like, 70% of the total number of cars in the game.
Also worth noting that I have 4 duplicates of PO cars I think, which I can’t sell and am not really using. May well end up deleting them if garage space gets tight. That would be a ridiculous waste, caused by the odd decision to ban sales of them on the Auction House (without warning or consultation with the community).
The garage size, I went for the super annoying move of removing “new” tag from all the cars I already have, so loss of time doing that , thanks T10 … Now I let it flood by duplicates, only when I need a slot for a new car, I just delete whatever is new, I used to sell rare ones at lowest price to help beginners, even that, sorry to say, I don’t do it anymore, just deleting, period.
The tunes limits is now the one that is the most boring to me. willing to save brand new tune for a new car, blocked, … not saving, not sharing … I am not a top tuner so may be not a big loss but I guess some good tuners found themselves in the same situation. Anyway, I keep that feeling, due to eliminator, that next FH could come with a very very bad surprise concerning tuning …
I went to play Rivals today and I admit that the popup indicating I don’t have anymore slot for saving a tune is infuriating … have to go out of rivals, back to garage load cars randomly to see if some tune to delete, don’t remember how much time I spent on it … delete anyway … raging ) … it is adding to having to quit Rivals for changing car or load previous/other tune ( reload menu, go the rivals menu, find the track, the class, wait for it to load, list leaderboard, filter to find back the score you target, wait loading, start, wait for load, race again )
I like tuning and rivals but it’s simply killing the fun of it.
hey guys,
ive been playing fh 4 for long time and atm i got 749 cars and i still got cars that im missing and i got many wheels i can use but it says i need atleast 3 spot to use the super wheelspin.
my question is what will happen when i go the next week and get new cars that i dont own or own but i get them from events?
and when they will increase the garage storage? i heard in the next season in the live stream of the season 25.
Cars are being added monthly to this game since its inception and if seems just fair that there be a reasonable increase in garage space ASAP! I would say another 150 spaces, yes?!
Always more cars but still the same limits for tunes and liveries … The tune limit has simply killed my interest in new cars, the simple idea of having to go through 750 cars to find one I could delete the tune from …
Assuming the Xbox Series X’s Smart Delivery update gives the game a little extra longevity boost, and assuming Forza Motorsport takes a while to arrive, if Playground ends support for FH4 in 08/2021 and keeps adding 3 cars every month, content updates will end at… 750 cars.
So there’s no incentive for Playground to issue an update other than the fans requesting one. I own all of the cars, including the “Welcome Pack” duplicates, but most people don’t. For people who have 400, 500 cars and focus on certain types, such an update would be useless.
Personally, I would like support for 1,000 of each (cars/tunes/designs), but I’m not the one calling the shots.
