Wow that is a huge disappointment Clubs are the sole reason I played the game as much as I did over 2k hours just driving fast around the map with club WMID ( Wangan Midnight). Also meeting alot of amazing people through this feature …… this is a huge let down …….. I thought they were just getting rid of the social aspect that had nothing to do with gaming and the clubs for games would stay :man_facepalming:t5:

we buit such a huge community at WMID and all of us were so excited for FH6

WMID (Wangan Midnight Club) in Forza Horizon 5 is a player-run group focused on touge racing, highway pulls, and street racing, often utilizing custom car meets.

Japan is big on car clubs its part of the culture and the club was built for this mannn :man_facepalming:t5:

There should be at least some in game feature

The only issue is that Playground was likely given no prior notice for Xbox/Microsoft’s decision to close community clubs, even though it directly affects an integral in-game feature. We only found out about it a couple weeks ago, and now confirming what it means for Horizon today, it’s very short notice considering we are only a few months away from FH6’s release.

But especially with Horizon now being on PS, it makes sense to go back to the fully in-game club system for FH6. Get everything centralised, every platform can access it, and bring back the features that made the older clubs awesome (like the weekly XP leaderboards). I can accept the loss of clubs in FH4 and FH5 as that’s not Playground’s fault, but it will be weird not having clubs in FH6, a lot of people do still care about it. It just seems unfair to completely kill this feature moving forward.

I know there is discord, but a discord server has no real connection to the game, which was the whole point of the clubs to begin with. No way to see who’s actually active within the club, which is difficult even with the current club system… another reason why the weekly XP leaderboards from the FH3 clubs were great. No way to see club members on in-game leaderboards, for both the friendly rivalry between club members, and for identifying cheaters so they can be removed from the club. Not to mention the whole dumpster fire of moderating a discord server with a lot of people in it. Yeah nah.

Discord may be good for externally supporting an in-game club, but without the in-game club it’s just another discord server with no direct connection to the game. It’s fine for a small team, but for clubs with thousands of members then that’s just not it, chief.

I totally understand the clubs feature not being there at launch, but please consider bringing them back with a fully in-game based club system, even if we have to wait a little while to get it. This is going to be the biggest Horizon game we’ve ever seen, and it would be a huge loss to not have such an important community feature with it.

I’ve already voted on this and when I saw the news my heart, soul, and spirit felt like it had been stabbed infinite times for eternity long story so buckle up in Forza Horizon 4 I’ve joined the RWBY Club for a while nothing much happened until one random day the club owner of RWBY invited me to a convoy and as I immediately joined and went to his location on the map he instantly added me as a friend then fast forward to months or so later we were talking back and forth about the game and such and he was telling me about the RWBY Club was a thing in Forza Horizon 3 (I was in a different club back then I can’t recall exactly what name it was ) and that there was a bunch of mean bullies in the Club and I was saying how crazy and such that was next thing I never thought would happen I get a message from Xbox that I was promoted to Admin of the Club and he explained to me what it was and he specifically said for me not to be a bully, mean, and not kick people out for no reason only to kick them out if they’re being mean and bullying fast forward to Forza Horizon 5 I somehow became the owner of Forza Horizon 4 version of the RWBY Club and the last time we hung out was when FH5 was buggy as all get out he was impressed with my drifting and my liverie design that were made by 2 separate different people so a huge shout out to Shadow87x I’m really going to miss our Club :smiling_face_with_tear: also I’m sorry for not using punctuation’s I have Autism and it’s not an excuse I’m just on a different spectrum of Autism it’s kinda hard to explain but it’s why I rely on the communities tunes and designs for :sweat_smile:anyways that’s my 2 cents so yeah :person_shrugging:t2::sweat_smile:

Horizon is a social racing game. If they add in car meets but not clubs, they know they’re missing out.

Club system is undeniably important for forza community and for the game itself

In my opinion, the deletion of clubs is just a step backwards for the franchise, because it was one of the key features of Horizon series and it brought many people together, so if this feature is deleted on Xbox side, instead of being forgot and abandoned, it MUST be integrated in the game itself and if it’s impossible to do that on release, then add it into one of the updates as soon as possible

Stating the obvious I know, having the club system back inside the game itself like it originally was in FH3 solves the issues with cross-platform from the off (at least for Horizon games, the official xbox club system never FULLY worked other than on Xbox).

Alooo, plebeians

I was conscripted by Gundalf the Geek to write that developers should definitely add an in-game club system à la Forizon 3.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Please do not sue me for malpractice - having teeth should not be a requirement to drill, baby, drill.

Voted and I fully support this. Clubs have been a staple of Horizon life for as long as I can remember. It’s so good for cultivating a great racing community.

Clubs has, whether through the old system or the recently disgarded one, has been a crucial feature to the social aspect in all forza horizon games. Whether you like bond over drift zones, car meets, competitive racing or any other way you can enjoy forza horizon, clubs have allowed people to meet, bond and socialize.

The lack of this feature in any form will be severely missed and will harm the social aspect of forza horizon. I therefor completely sympathise with this suggestion, seeing how the earlier iterations of club system have been the easiest to use.

We absolutely need the system from FH2 and 3 back! That was such a great long-term feature back then, and it’d still would be in 6!

Clubs are necessary for the success of this game.

I agree with everyone that clubs are what made this franchise a great success and in my opinion they should return because that’s how we showed off our cars that we wanted as a dream irl car or our actual irl cars

+1 for properly fixing/implementing clubs. It was completely broken on FH5 PC for most of the game’s lifespan, and outsourcing to Facebook groups was all but useless.
It’s a very needed social tool that will vastly improve player retention & overall enjoyment of the game.

Never really been into clubs myself since ive only just started tackling top 1% leaderboards in rivals and pr stunts. shame ill never get to be in one since it seems like fh5’s most interactive feature

Honestly, the perfect system would be a combination of the club systems from the first 3 FH games: give us the functionality of FH2/3 clubs, and bring back the Club Garage from FH1, which would allow you to drive around in your clubmates’ cars (or, at least, the cars they’d add to that garage). I mean, we already have the return of car meets, which were last officially seen in the FH2/3 era, and the idea of inviting other players to your customised garage or “estate” would be really cool with a club. And, let’s also not forget that car clubs are/were a big part of Japanese car culture. The Mid-Night Club, for example (IYKYK).

I’ve been a member of car clubs in every Horizon game, and I had a few of my own since FH3 (The Precious Metals Racing League in FH3, and Monarch in FH4/5), and yes, it is obvious that the user interactivity declined drastically over those last few titles. And, that started around the same time as when they moved away from the in-game system for the Xbox Club system. I’m not going to say that was the reason why players stopped interacting with the clubs, but I’m not NOT saying that… But, the fact of the matter is, if they’d stayed with the in-game system for FH4/5/6, then the PlayStation players would also be able to join clubs. But, hey, we’ll still have Discord!

Strong agree on all points here. Horizon is built around cars, music, and community. The game lives and dies on the community, and the clubs system is integral to that. We need clubs back for FH6. they’ve already been making decisions fans are loving, and they should make the fan preferred decision here too. Bring in-game clubs back in FH6. It might take some time, but it will be worth it.
