Hey everyone hope you’re doing super.
Just popping up a feel good post I’ve observed over the past while. If you want to know the health of the Forza Motorsport player base/community all you need do is join the Forza Reddit page Here there’s 600 contributions per week of various things like gameplay, tuning setups, liveries, meetups and a whole lot more.
It’s laughable that people say Motorsport is “dead" when there’s an active almost underground group of people keeping the franchise alive and kicking.
It gets about 14K visits and there’s active redditors, mods and top members. We are all here and thriving. Hope to see you there.
As long as the game is playable we will be here no matter what anyone says.

It is and it’s such a wholesome community.
I see posts from the game on Reddit every day and at least they show the good points of the game to some extent, despite there being some difficulties with the penalty system and such.
Indeed like the penalty system does need looking at and a change made. But yes the Reddit community (it seems) to be the only one keeping our game alive and well.
I’ve decided that’s the place where I’m dumping clip spam from now on
Since I like to stir s***, I’ll reaffirm my defense of the penalty system in its current state being no worse than any popular non-subscription competitor’s
I ran this battle chomping through track limits knowing I wouldn’t get hit with anything beyond a warning
It gets it right 90-95% of the time. The other 5-10% of the time, you usually know you’re gonna get some goofy and underserved penalty and just need the bare minimum mental fortitude to laugh it off lol

I agree its fine, it does what its supposed to and compared to most penalty systems out there its better. But, I would have liked to have seen slow down penalties to give back position for dirty overtaking and serving penalty time in the pits.
Fair points made. Slow downs would definitely be the better option…
I actually think the TL penalties are one of the very few things the game did okay at. It was a clear upgrade over the beta we seen in FM7.
Are you suggesting you should have had a penalty in your video? It doesn’t look like you gained much (if any) time.
I followed that link the other day. The first post was someone asking for help with something. One person offered advice, five people slagged them off. Sounds like here.
I always see posts from peeople complaining about TLs. From the way they complain, yeah, I think the clip goes against that lol

I don’t know which particular post(s)/thread(s) you’re referring to, but in general…
Way too many (re)posts are inquiries about things that have already been covered countless times before, and the (re)poster would have instantly found the info they seek if they had just typed their inquiry into an online search engine instead of into a “create post/thread/topic” textbox.
Some people seem to take the old saying “there’s no such thing as dumb questions” as a challenge, which often evokes correspondingly snarky responses.
Way too many other posts (especially on Reddit) are just karma-farming, rage-bait, click-bait, brain-rot, bots, etc.
Low-quality posts don’t deserve high-quality responses.
Why didn’t you offer help then instead of doing nothing? You’d rather come here and tell us all about you surviving one post lol
It is wholesome. We’ve a nice community here pity some folks like to think the glass is ALWAYS empty. Sad really.
There isn’t really anything sad about someone having a different opinion on something though is there?
Or maybe there is for you, either way it looks like you’re well matched with FIorza + Reddit so just enjoy it, don’t be sad
