I’ve always found that the wishlist thread can tend to bury any sort of conversation or debate that could be had about what cars people want in the game. And once somebody tries to have a discussion on say… A new car pack idea or something of that sort that gets sent straight to wishlist territory by an admin. Which why I think the wishlist should be a folder instead of just one thread. Because it’s hard to have your voice heard when it is just a pool of people shouting out lists of cars they like. Like maybe a voting thread or the ability to post a thread about a certain type of thing you want to see done. I just think there is way more to discuss than just saying what cars you want. What do you guys think? What other improvements could be made?
Maybe this should be posted in the features wishlist thread, don’t you think? #sarcasm -
If the wishlist section was made from a thread to a folder it might allow for more discussions, but I think what they are attempting to avoid with a single thread is the creation of thousands of new threads to spam the place up…
This is a GREAT idea… too bad the mods are gonna lock this post in 3…2…1
It’s a shame that we’re directed to a wishlist thread since it’s where suggestions go to die. Clearly nobody from Turn 10 must never see anything there because there’s been tons of awesome suggestions that haven’t and likely won’t ever make it not only into FM6 but the series in the foreseeable future. I’m not talking stuff like “thousand cars” or “twice the tracks” but simple stuff like adjustable career race distance or options for specific car classes in free play. The only explanation for us not being able to go into free play and choose an F1 race, V8 Supercar race, or classic muscle race is that Turn 10 has no idea that we’ve asked for this.
I agree. The wishlists are generally thought of as the place where suggestions are sent to die.
At the same time, they can’t just let every gamer demanding an S14 post a thread about it in the “general discussion” forum.
A “wishlist discussion” subforum might work, though I worry it may devolve into folks having “this car > that car” arguments with no real discussion taking place.
