Hi, as the title states, we’re about to start an Indy Series this weekend. If interested please get in touch.
Here are the rules :
5 lap qual session before hand.
Race 36 laps, 1st lap is parade lap to get into quali order. then rolling start, pace set by pole sitter.
Damage : On
Assist : Use whatever you like, besides racing line banned.
Pit : Pit only if you need to.
CLEAN racing only!!
Adults only as we’re mixed age range from 20’s, 30’s, 40+
First Round is Prague.
Car - any of the 4 indy cars to choose from, all specs are the same, you can use your own tunes or download someone elses if your not a tuner. Feel free to make your own livery or use stock livery or download one.

This is a pretty big commitment, especially so with a new group I have not raced with before. But the race time is right, length of race is attractive, the car is good, and the group seems to be mature (to be seen ?!?).
richard1973, count me in. GT = GRD 4 3L (space before & after #4).
Will run some practice laps to ensure I’m up to snuff with the car.
thanks for the interest, i’ll add you tonight when i get home from work, The next round is this sunday its the Nurburg GP track, if it turns out its not your cuppa tea you can always drop out, but its a good bunch of people so hopefully you’ll enjoy and stick around
NB GP is a good track. My only concern is getting too excited and taking everyone out at 1st corner! I plan on taking it easy for the 1st race just to feel it out and avoid taking unnecessary risks.

GRD 4 3L - appreciate the caution, those turn one lap one’s can be tricky at times, though I must admit as a group we’re all pretty good and careful for those. The races are fairly long so it’s not all down to the first corner.
So far the guys times are anywhere from the super fast guys doing 1.42’s to 1.46’s, but as damage will be on, its not all about top end speed. Though Nurburgring GP doesnt have many walls to hit unlike Prague (especially that final chicane).
GRD i’ve paired you up with SKate as a team mate, could be handy as I think you two would be in the same time zones, just in case you want to arange practises etc, though of course you can practise with any of us.
Quick bump, we just had round 3 last night. The series has only started, there’s more spaces if anyone would like to join.

It’s a good bunch of guys who race clean and are all friendly, so if your looking to join a series, no matter what skill level (as fun and entertainment as just as important than lap times). Please drop me a message, next round is this Sunday 6.30pm UK time and the track is Bernese Alps Full Circuit.
Another bump! Round 4 is this weekend on Sunday, Bernese Alps. I thought I’d bump this now so if anyone did want to join in time for that race they will be able to get some practise time in.
