Iconic Movie Cars Championship

Does anyone know what movie the '69 Boss Mustang represents? And how did the '73 Ford Falcon not make it into this category?

69 Mustang boss I’m going to guess represents Eleanor from Gone In Sixty Seconds.

I’m going to guess Bullitt (1968).

I was thinking that too. But a different year model is a different car entirely.

Bullitt came with a 390.

Eleanor was based off a '67 GT500, very Loosely based. Since Eleanor was rebuilt from the ground up given a wide body kit, brand new suspension, frame, the works she’s not really a 67 GT500 at heart anymore.

Just like Ken Block’s Mustang isn’t really a Mustang anymore

Depends which Gone in 60 seconds you are referring to.

The original movie, had an authentic car. Shame that actor died while filming Gone in 60 seconds 2.

The original Gone in 60 Seconds did not have a '69 Boss Mustang. It was the '73 Mustang.

John Wick.

John Wick would be the closest but he had the 427

Wick’s was a Boss 429.

Thanks. I always reverse those two numbers.

The closest would be the movie Death Sentence.
Though it´s no boss 302 (original car had a 429, for the movie they swapped a 302 in for some reason) but its a 69 Fastback

'73 Falcon is from Mad Max.

I’m sure there is a movie somewhere that uses the Boss 302, it’s just a matter of finding it.
