I think the GUI is holding back customization

The way things are now, when you want to customize something, you have to go to the right menu and select the part. For most things this is fine, but if you want to select something more specific like rally roof intakes, light bars, or even tyre walls (if available) etc. the way things go now are like this:

Upgrades > Customise car > Exterior > Bumpers > then select one of the many combinations available.

It’s fine, but far from perfect. I think the menu’s should be reworked to allow further customization like we have in many other games. Things are way better categorized there. In Forza for example, when you want mudflaps, you have to look them up under sideskirts. Same goes for light bars.

I think better designed menus would allow the devs to more easily add custom parts and especially the players to find them and add them to their cars.

The menu structure is just outdated. Isn’t it time they/we acknowledge that? It still stems from the old Forza Motorsport games and hasn’t really been updated much. This is why the tyre section is so cluttered. Normally you’ll want to select a tyre type and tyre wall seperately but you (still) can’t. There are so many more examples, but I’m not going to list them all because I’m sure us players know all about it.

Just wanted to vent this.

I agree, it’s a bit ridiculous to be forced to choose between parts that don’t collide with one another. The upgrade system could be more flexible

Body kits are in the wrong menu too. I understand why they are in the conversion tab, but tbh they are more of an appearance thing to me.

It’s outdated and desperate need of a revamp
