I’m enjoying it.

I’m truly enjoying this game. I know there are some rough spots that WILL be addressed, but overall, I’m pleased. The weather is much better, and I love how it transitions. The reward system is solid, as are the mods. I don’t feel obligated to buy a highly sought after car or mods. As for VIP, I have always been a VIP member. I skipped horizon 3 to save up for this version, and I’m happy with that choice.

To those who are frustrated, you need to calmly and clearly make your case. Don’t come in here and slam the moderators with profanity and threats of returning the game. That will not get you far. “You catch more flies with honey,” as my mother says.

I actually like the mod card system. It increases the risk/reward for the races and is fully optional which races you wanna use it. Kinda feels a little like the old Project Gotham Racing system.

The minor issues of Forza 7 are nothing compared to the monumental issues of that other racing sim game released on Xbox a week before… not naming any names here.

I’m enjoying it too. This is my first Forza game, so I can’t compare to previous versions.

One thing that has disappointed me is the fact that I can’t just jump into any of the 700+ cars whenever I want. I had no idea I’d have to work my way up through the ranks and unlock cars along the way.

I’ve seen some occasional weirdness in the menus (I have the PC version). There’s times when I click on things and it just ignores me. For example, I start the game and click on “single player” with my mouse. It completely ignores me. I use the arrow keys and it moves between Forza Drivers Cup, Multiplayer and the other boxes you can choose from. I then tap on “single player” with my finger (I have a touch screen) and it works. After this the mouse works. Weird…

Also, there are times when I can’t choose from all the cars I own and I have no idea why (I’m doing free play). The only way I’ve found to fix this is to back out to the main menu and go back into the single player free play and all my cars are back.

Despite those gripes, I’m still enjoying it.
