My first car is an original street paint for the 94 Fairlady Z. Its shared in the share front and can be found with a search for CZP or my Gamer tag. There is also a B class grip tune for the car available. Thanks for looking and enjoy.
I have a portrait in the works but it’s gonna be months before it’s finished.
I am warm lol. I probably won’t paint anything else as I can’t distribute my paint as I want to and I don’t get paid even for 300 uses in a day lol. For me I only ever painted as a means of getting credits for buying cars and I can get more from driving which I enjoy a lot more. We can’t keep saying wait until the next forza as we have been saying that since FM2. Turn 10 killed the community for sure with FM5 and it will be difficult to get it back unless they bring gifting back. I can see why they took gifting out but it didn’t sort the unlocking of paint out as it is still going on now.
I completely sympathise, but the not sharing has controlled paints being passed around like a virus which is the only reason I released cars to the public again since F2. I prefer to earn more money from racing also, especially as I am enjoying the driving more these days. The new controller and response is a big improvement for me. Not sure about what your hearing Lee but a few of my friends refuse to put things up due to the rewards being so little for the time put into what they are tuning and painting! Argument being they can go put a couple of laps together somewhere and earn more lol. That does seam odd when I think about it. No one I talk to disagrees the community has walked away, or I should say keeping peoples interest in the game especially since the clubs have been removed. I’m optimistic as ever with F5 being a release day game that there will be vast improvements for F6 and updates to bring some fan favourite things back to this one. Clubs surely has to be top of the list? As for sharing, personally I can certainly live without that one, it encourages people to get in there and have a bash themselves & stops people benefitting off the backs of others.
I know first hand that paints are being unlocked as I have seen them in others share fronts. Why should others be able to get my stuff unlocked but I cannot send it to others myself. The game is now targeting the casual gamer. I am not saying that I don’t like the game as I think the physics of the game are great but the forums are now dead because of the way the are being run, There is nobody playing FM5 and there are other games coming out. Turn 10 never post on the site and appear to show no interest unless they are selling something. I will try and chat with you at some point over the weekend but have to go to work to do a 24 hour stint. catch you later.
So frustrating after the hours put in. Just wish there was some way to deal with it. I don’t think we will ever get away with the unlocking unfortunately. Makes me think twice about what to do with future releases. This is exactly why we loose good painters, I know Tomninnin spotted someone sharing his design which was dealt with swiftly. I cant get my head round why someone would share someone elses work?! They really gain nothing worthwhile by doing it on F5 apart from risking a permanent ban?
Forza fame. Saying that somewhat tongue in cheek. But it does seem to be a “syndrome” lol. People seem to forget that just having access to great designs and tunes should be more than enough. Stealing a design and taking credit for it is childish. If the table was turned the offender would feel the same way. The alternative is that the creativity that helped Forza 2 two and the following titles flourish is now being stifled and the offenders haven’t been punished.
Nice job Lee, I agree with MM8M. You need to give this paint editor a workout with one of your portraits. I could have 5,000 layers and still not be able to do what you guys do. It truly is art. Mine is a little more like a chimp with a paintbrush
Like I have said to Monkey. I will probably have something finished by Christmas 2015.
You do not give yourself enough credit Bob. Your paints are getting better with everyone that you do and will continue to do so.
Thank you for the kind words of encouragement Pacman & Lee. You both are very talented painters. I know its all about honing the skills and practice. Trial and error and patience will only make me better
