Hey everyone,
I know this probably sounds stupid, and is also a bit late to even bring it up, but I do not know how to drift in FM5. Basically, is there anyone out there who could give me tips on how to drift? Maybe some guides or videos to look at, or give me some info on how to do it, tell me the best settings to use for drifting, best cars/car setups to drift, best tracks, just anything. Or if someone had the time we could go into a private game together and teach me how to drift? I just really feel like a noob asking this but I’m hoping the community will be understanding and possibly help. Thanks guys!
Easiest car I find is the 240sx and do the i6TT (RB26DETT) swap but don’t do to much upgrade and each time you upgrade the turbo it adds over 100hp. So just put it to the second one if you need more oust, I usually keep it stock and have around 380-450hp and I have a hard time trying to spin it out on purpose hahaha. But if you can I can help you with a tune and get you the right camber angles and gearing so you can have a car just the way you want it. Do ask other people for tunes because everyone drifts differently and has their own preference. Add me XGN Halo GoD
Pretty much every car is easy to drift only if you can get yourself a comfortable tune that you can do slight adjustments on for different cars. Once you find out your tune and how you like your car to handle while sideways, drift will become 50x more easier.
Many cars are excellent drifters in stock trim. The 240 SX mentioned earlier is one, also try the Dodge Coronet Super Bee (DLC car).
i’m having decent results with the superbee in B class…426H and all. and by decent i mean i’m getting comparable lap times to the challenger and charger with the 5.7 swap and that you folks that are good enough to get into the top 500 will never have to worry about me bumping your spot. but i can finish mid pack in an online race and it appears that my talents as a driver runs out about right there. if it was easy everyone would be the best
