I don't get it...

So I took a long forza break tried to play it… just can’t do it… feels to much like horizon, they force you to upgrade your car, not like forza 4 working up collecting money etc. I was showing my buddy cars then came across the Pontiac Aztec… are you freaking serious? SMH last time I preorder a game, now they need to push that selling digital games back.

Now to bad forza 4 didn’t get the new cars in 6… love the rain, hate the career and car selection…

Your kidding right? I have been playing Forza since 1. Although there are some things I miss, the graphics are astounding, it does not play like Horizon at all, I also have those. The only big issue I have with FM6 is MP, it stinks, but I love the challenges and the rivals are fun too. There is so much racing to do in FM6 besides MP, if you get board of it ,that would be your fault. Also maybe some one wants to race an Aztec. Maybe an Aztec challenge on say Sebring, who can drive the Aztec faster. Just because it’s in there you don’t have to drive it. Yeah talk about car selection, how about project cars?

Career stinks and so does free play. Given that and crappy MP, rivals has suffered too. It’s shouldn’t be this easy to set a top 100…let alone a top 100 in odd cars. The perfect example for me is that in every forza I was thrilled to be top 200 in S class. It’s a class that doesn’t fit well in my skill set and has always been one of the most popular classes. Now I have little problem running top 50s in rivals after a few laps learning a car and eventually pacing top 20s. I’m sorry but that’s not normal and a sign that many just don’t care anymore.

It’s hard not to get bored with the game and pretty graphics do little to add excitement.

So your complaining that your good? That’s a new one, suggestions for you,tag virus, 50 laps of Daytona with AIS on unbeatable with x class, lol, if you are bored of the game because it’s “too easy,” don’t ask for t10 to change everything because your a pro, challenge yourself to do other stuff

I’m not good in anything above B class and am far from a pro. I’m providing an example on the lack of competitiveness that normally would exist in S class to suggest that due to the difficulty in finding fun races, rivals has suffered. I’m in no way complaining about hitting personal highs.

Unbeatable AI in free play are way slower than the ones in career. It’s boring. I know I’ll win every race. What’s the fun in that? At least career has the runaway drivatars that provide good battles. If only the career wasn’t so repetitive. The showcases were good though! And I don’t get the point of tag. Everyone just seems to want to drift. Lol.

I’m doing the S class MLG stuff for the challenge. That’s why I know S class boards are no way near as competitive as they used to be. I would avoid S class lobbies too. It’s insane. Lol.

Weird, I have been playing this FM for nine years. I have never not found something interesting. Are you in any Clubs. They have some pretty good races. When you play with people you can trust it is way more fun.

My wife gets mad at me because she says it’s my 2nd life.

Same, I’ve lately had fun with the gurkha and smash I g it I to the wall on the first corner of long beach, it’s hilarious

In one of the league races I seen a car right beside me hit the wall at Daytona, It spiraled in the air 3 times right in front of me, landed on all fours and he finished the race. It was on the last lap. We were doing about 170 or so.

Lol, one time I was afk in a tag lobby doing something, I come back just in time to see my car get smashed and it ended up though the map, it was hilarious

Never had that happen before, pretty narley hit.

I recorded it and I looked at it again, it looks like he hit me and and it somehow put me under the map enough to get on top of me at the same time and it sent me under the map

I would tend to agree for most of 7 or 8 years I’ve been playing. Yes, I’m in a hotlap club, but we are inactive due to no forza stats and to an extent no overall leaderboards.

I also used to race with a bunch of players who used to routinely release cars on the forums. They haven’t done such since early in FM5. They were quick too. Podiums were a challenge to get. I enjoyed saving repays just to rewatch the battles.

I have friends now, but only one can routinely keep up and he doesn’t play much. I do like playing with my friends and kick back, but I also like competition.

There’s a lack of competition and it’s frustrating.

And to another posters point, I don’t like high grip cars and don’t care much for newer cars. I avoid upper classes as result. Those cars bore me usually. I prefer really low grip cars that require some man handling to get it around corners fast and lower classes provide that thrill. Forzastats used to force me to explore higher classes to accrue points, but without that motivation higher classes are just kinda meh to me.

I play tag virus alot, probably my favorite game mode in forza, there are always people in this lobbies who mess around, I choose to actually try mos of the time, and as far as circuit, if you not really good in anything higher than B class, go up classes until you do

(Unbeatable is pretty beatable, I tell you what)

Well maybe your one of the gifted ones. There are over 30,000 players on this game not everyone including myself can get a top 50. I am happy when I get a top 300. Satisfies me just fine. Besides I just like to race. Some people can’t afford to race in real life nor do they want to, this is as real as I want to get. I can stay alive doing this. Nothing is perfect and nothing will ever be. I can also put the drivatars on unbeatable and still beat them. Does it boar me, no it does not. Because I just like to race.

I don’t ever preorder games, I think it’s a waste of money anyway, Forza will always have its flaws, the Aztec is a funny car, if you don’t like it, don’t play with it, just because you hate something doesn’t mean everyone else does, I like the fact that they put SUVS in the game, it adds something a bit more, I like messing around with them, if you don’t like the SUVS, dlc, NO, career, DONT PLAY THEM

In regards to playing like Horizon I’m not sure if you have changed the controller settings… The moment I did that the handling was much more improved… Check around there details on these boards on how to do it I just cant remember off the top of my head while I’m work.

I’m not sure I would go as far as to say career stinks, it is not any more of a grind then it was in any of the previous versions. I do agree that the best choices may not have been made in that you have to run the same tracks through six divisions in each volume instead of the specific setups that 4 had. Having to go through the three sets of races all in the Lotus was a grind, same with the indy and e-cars but the other divisions were not too bad. It would have been nicer to not have any unclassed cars so every car in the game had at least once race they qualified for. I get what they were trying to do and the need to not just give us a recycled 4 so I’m a bit forgiving.

Free play is what I use to drive those unclassed cars and also to work on manufacturer affinity. The showcases were pretty good, except for the bowling, that is pure Horizon arcade nonsense.
Multiplayer is mainly crappy due to the the fact that people are flawed. Everyone thinks that MP is bad because they can’t run CPLs, but if everyone is in their CPL there is no one to populate the open lobbies and then many who may get into MP have no chance to experience that part of the game.

I’ve accomplished most of the goals I had for the game so I’m ready to be bored and move on, I got my money’s worth, time to move on. I applaud those that work to gain leaderboard status and all but at the end of the day, it will not get you the girl (or guy) of your dreams, will not get you a raise at work, it is a entertainment time sink and if it is not entertaining, try something new.

I agree that, if you have gotten your monies worth and are no longer interested, you should move on.

I have enjoyed the career racing. When I noticed the tracks being the same, I broke it up and ran some career, some showcase and some stories races. That allows me to spread those tracks out and use more cars. I’m still not finished with all the career, showcase and stories events, because I am getting into leagues. I have barely touched rivals, and that was where I spent most of my time in FM4. So, I still have a lot to enjoy about the game. Thankfully, if I do get bored, I have barely touched FM5. So I’m set for a while.

I would not have an xbox one if it wasn’t for FM5. That is the one and only reason I got it. And it was worth every penny and it still is. IMO
