Are we going to have a proper comand for the power boost from the electric motors in cars such as the Toyota Ts 040 , Porsche 919 hybrid and for a proper use of the DRS for the Lotus E23(if it s coming back) and McLaren P1?
On a somewhat unrelated note, when upgrading a road legal hybrid car to make it race-ready, you wouldn’t just tune the internal combustion engine, you would also change the electric motors.
Will there be an option to upgrade them? They don’t have to increase torque and power massively, just let them show up.
Manual deployment of car-specific aerodynamic, hybrid and electrical performance boosts is something that Driveclub and a few other games do rather well.
However, Forza has always taken a “one-size fits all” approach to how cars are controlled. Every car has the same available camera angles, assists and control methods.
So while is it a good suggestion (and one I have in the Checklist in my signature), it is highly unlikely that we will see something like this in Forza Motorsport 7. At best you can hope that as you reach certain speeds those features will be applied automatically on a per-car basis.
This is unknown, but I would suggest you look at example cars in Forza Motorsport 6 and Forza Horizon 3 to see how they’re treated. The tuning and upgrading system will be identical in Forza Motorsport 7.
Doubt it. You need to play Assetto Corsa or Project Cars to get DRS or KERS simulation. I believe that DRS is graphically (visually) simulated on the cars (Louts F1, McLaren P1 etc.) in FM6 though I do not think it has any affect on the actual physics while your driving. FM7 probably will stay in the sim-cade territory.
It is so complicated to add one button (Y for example) to use DRS. Unbelievable hard. So I don’t believe there will be changes in FM7 from this point too.
If we cannot use a specific button,it would be great just to see the utilization of the electric part or the DRS in the HUD like in other games
