The Horizon Touring Car Cup (HTCC) has finally inserted the key into the ignition and is ready to burn some rubber.
Round 1 is scheduled to hit the ground on the 27th of September where Tsukuba Circuit is about to get a lot more noisy.
Qualifying will begin on Monday the 23rd of September and end on Thursday the 26th so make sure to set aside some time to put your best lap in and secure your spot in Friday’s race.
Feel free to give our short trailer a watch!
What is the HTCC?
The Horizon Touring Car Cup is a Community-Driven League spearheaded by HokiHoshi and partnered with various other Forza communities such as the FCG, FIDA, HRA and ForzaDash.
If you’d prefer to Watch a Video then we have a Breakdown of the League here from Season 1: https://youtu.be/8qGHEvgxAc0
The HTCC aims to provide a Fair and Competitive Racing Environment for both veteran and newer drivers who want to experience their first taste of a Forza League.
The League exclusively uses the 2020 Lynk & Co #100 Cyan Racing 03, 2020 MG #20 MG6 XPower and 2021 Hyundai #98 Bryan Herta Autosport Elantra N on a variety of EventLab Tracks.
This enables a more approachable type of car for newer drivers as well as provide a showcase of community talent and fresh experiences over basegame tracks.
How is the League Run and what are the requirements?
A total of 6 Rounds will take place every 2 Weeks with Drivers being seeded into Splits of 12 based on Pre-Race Qualifying times. This is to help provide a balanced field and ensure drivers are matched together with others of equal skill level.
Each Round is composed of 2 Main Phases: Qualifying and the Races
• Monday - Thursday : Qualifying - This is your chance to get out on track and put down some laps. You’re allowed to run the specified blueprint as many times as you want in the Qualifying Period but you can only submit 1 time as your entry.
• Friday : 2 Races of 25-30 minutes each - Race 1 will start with drivers in the order of their qualifying while Race 2 will start with the Top 8 finishers in a reverse order (Winner of Race 1 will start P8 etc).
All Splits will be coordinated on our Discord and a Race Control Panel is present to provide a fair examination of any and all reported incidents.
We have already run a short Season 0 and a full Season 1 which many people enjoyed so hopefully we can continue that with Season 2.
Requirements are simple
• Be available to Race. We try to accommodate all timezones but if you’re unable to make a race for whatever reason please inform us.
• Ensure you understand and follow the rules and operations of the league. If you don’t understand something you’re always welcome to ask the Staff for clarification.
• Race Fair. Dirty Drivers will be penalised and ultimately disqualified if required.
• Follow the Car and Upgrade Restrictions. Failure to do so results in Disqualification.
• Be able to run the Races. We recommend an Xbox One X as a bare minimum as although the tracks used aren’t super prop heavy they can still stress the Xbox One and the One S.
• Use a Race Livery with all the required Decals.
