FH5: Introducing the Horizon Touring Car Cup League

What is the HTCC?

The Horizon Touring Car Cup is a Community-Driven League spearheaded by HokiHoshi and partnered T10 and PGG along with Forza Communities such as FIDA and the Forza Creator’s Guild (FCG).

The Goal of the HTCC is to provide a Fair and Competitive Racing Environment that caters both to veteran drivers and to newer drivers who want to experience their first taste of a Horizon League. The League exclusively uses the 2020 Lynk & Co #100 Cyan Racing 03 and 2020 MG #20 MG6 XPower at A800 on specific EventLab Tracks. This allows us to cater to both new and veteran drivers as well as provide a showcase of community talent and fresh experiences over the vanilla tracks.

How is the League Run and what are the requirements?

Races take place every 2 Weeks with Drivers being seeded into 8 Splits of 96 Total Players based on Pre-Race Qualifying times. This is to help provide a balanced field and ensure drivers are matched together with others of equal skill level.

4 Splits will be casted live on HokiHoshi’s Twitch Channel and at the end of the Season the top 3 Drivers will be awarded prizes alongside the Top Team.

All Splits will be coordinated on Discord with an Admin Present to act as Race Control and monitor the Race.

The first batch of the League is going to be a Season 0 which is smaller in scale and is intended to fully test every aspect of the league prior to the start of Season 1. You’re more than welcome to get involved at this early stage but just be aware that some unforeseen issues may appear.

Requirements are simple

• Be available to Race. We try to accommodate all timezones but if you’re unable to make a race for whatever reason please inform us.

• Race Fair. Dirty Drivers will be penalised and ultimately disqualified if required.

• Follow the Car and Upgrade Restrictions. Failure to do so results in Disqualification.

• Be able to run the Races. We recommend an Xbox One X as a bare minimum as although the tracks used aren’t super prop heavy they can still stress the Xbox One and the S.

• Use a Race Livery with all the required Sponsors and Decals.

How do I get involved?

The majority of the information is all hosted on HokiHoshi’s Discord Server and a Google Form will be provided for Signups.

We also have a full Website on offer along with a Twitter.

If you are just interested in Watching the Splits then as mentioned previously they’ll be Casted on HokiHoshi’s Twitch Channel - Twitch.

We also welcome any Creators who are interested in making content based on the League.

If you have any problems or questions feel free to contact one of the Moderators in the Discord Server or me here on the Forums
