Any tips or setups would be appreciative, my usual drift cars are no bueno at this sort of thing.
Just use any Rally Monster and slide into the turns well in advance.
I used 4WD Koenigsegg One. Easy as hell.
A bone stock hoonigan mustang
Rally Monsters and Hatches are quite good at offroad drift zones, built a semi decent S1 Volkswagen Golf Gti 16v Mk2 that I’ve used to 2-3 star most of them, just a matter of practice in the end.
Today i was 3 starring a few drift zones both tarmac and gravel, and both the gymkhana focus and fiesta done excellent job.
The aston martin DB11 was pretty good too, although it was not on purpose, forzathon live forced me to do it. Drifting isn’t an easy thing to get right (not for me at least), but with the right cars its manageable.
Like a lot of people are saying, 4WD.
Also, depending on what drift zone you are at, go downhill.
Your car will have less trouble trying to fight against the mud and dirt.
Hope this helps!

I couldn’t drift to save my nuts, after 5 hours of practice it came easy. Scores are in the top 1000 now.
I use old muscle cars with stock tires - the slipperier the better.
AWD
Maxed power
Skinniest tires
Dont do anything to the steering
Diffs all 100% acc - 0% dec at around 75%

I find drift cars and most performance cars have way too much grip even on stock rubber and the narrowest are still too wide.
I used an S2 Formula Drift Viper.
For the off-road drift zones use a shorter wheelbase car, because the point zones are narrower the shorter wheelbase helps you stay inside the point zone. I found the formula drift mustang worked better than the viper for the off-road zones for this reason.
I used the Fiesta GRC for pretty much all the off-road drift zones. Traction Control off, Stability Control off, and practise practise practise. You’ll get super annoyed at just missing out on scores too…
I used the Ford RS200 with no upgrades for them and I also used it on Blizzard Mountain two years ago as well it works well.
I want the MK1 or MK2 Escort to be good at this stuff, but I haven’t had much luck with them. I’ve probably had the best runs with the GRC Fiesta.
I have found that my 83 Golf GTI is actually pretty good at offroad drifting, and I have only stuck in an I4 Turbo Rally engine, AWD swapped it, stuck on rally parts, and maxed everything else. Got 3 stars on all offroad drift zones. My Escort RS Turbo also works well. I think small cars with high power work good.
Bone-stock Gymkhana Focus is great for both Drift and Speed zones on dirt roads, I think I managed to 3-star every drift zone in the game with just that and the Hoonicorn.
