How many cars can you park in the ah?

Since I reached the 1000 car limit I store duplicates of cars I want in the auction house. I win an auction and just don’t collect the car until I want/need it. But the list is growing and growing and I’m beginning to wonder how long I can keep doing this. Has anyone reached a limit on how many won auctions you can have?

According to a message when you open the AH the first time (when the game was new) you have 60 days.

curious to know why you want all those cars - not being “off” with you, just wondering

I like to quickly switch between liveries and tunes. So I often have multiple instances of one car with different tunes and paintjobs. I do that with rare and normal cars alike. Also I like to have spares to give away to people who still need the car, so I usually try to grap a spare when they are available.

I think I have cars that are in my inbox for longer, they don’t seem to enforce that. Tho I could imagine they won’t help you if a car gets missing after that time.

25 a day is the limit from what I know.

You can put 24 cars into the AH in a 24h timeframe. But that’s not what I’m asking. How many can you buy, without collecting them?

Sorry, I haven’t checked that so far and don’t actually plan to.

AFAIK, there is no cap regarding unclaimed storage space in the AH. It’s absolutely ridiculous we have to do such things due to the low amount of tune save slots. Will we get more space for tunes? I’d like to see that question asked & answered on the next live feed.

It would be odd if there was no space limit on AH buys or a time limited to claim them given the limits on garage, tunes, livery, etc.

I know there’s a time limit, but I’ve never read nor heard anything about a space limit.

But an apparently unenforced time limit the OP reckons. Probably a bug.

You can go to town on the number of failed auctions you can hold onto as far as I can see. I kept hundreds of cars in there until I decided to trim it down somewhat.

If you are using the AH to grab designs without taking up a livery slot - after some time eventually you’ll run into a hidden limit on doing that in which you can still grab the car you’ve won but with the car reverting to the stock livery.

wish they would change it to double the car amount… meaning however many cars in the game… do double . so i can have 2 versions of each car. i like having a drift and a race… or a race and a cruiser. or rally and race… or rally and drift. but got to 1000 cars so now i just give random cars away whenever i feel like emptying some slots lol. and my auction house is usually full with auctions going on and cars sitting waiting to be collected lol… top 1% at almost every or at every drift zone… usually top 50000 players out of the 3-4million who play ill take it.

I tried to sell a Fiesta XR2 once, it wasn’t sold and I forgot about its existence.
It was sitting there for over a year before I claimed it.
I would assume it’s the same for won auctions.

I have had 1800+ Ferrari 512 unclaimed for at least 6 months. it raises the question as to why they can’t apply the same math to garage size, tune and livery saves.

can also confirm that having so many cars on the server creates an error message and strips the livery when you claim them. and my garage isn’t even close to full, I have no duplicate cars, and less than 100 local private liveries

how do you even have 1800+ ferrari 512

I made about 1 trillion credits in the first year of the game, I was a legendary tuner by week 2, selling stuff for 20 mil. I got bored and decided to increase the rarity of the 512 by grabbing as many as possible. this was easy when it came up as a seasonal prize the second time, they were going as low as 1 million each

(I was exaggerating about the trillion, but it was at least 13 billion before I stopped counting)
