Maybe I’m just clueless but I can’t seem to figure out how to watch leaderboard replays. I’m doing the evolution cup open series and having a blast. First series I’ve been posting really good times. Post race I can see I’m only a couple seconds off the top times. I can’t view the replays from the post race leaderboard so I tried going to free play and choosing the same track and going to the leaderboards. Same thing. A lot of the times have both of the half moons for tune and replay but when I select the time, I don’t get an option to view replay. Any ideas?
Short answer: You don’t.
Long answer: Only Rivals events allow you to view Replays posted to the Leaderboards.
Makes sense. In an actual race that driver would also be moving in response to the other cars which could not be rendered as part of the replay. The rivals events just need to focus on recording the movements of one car.

The replays are there but there is no way to watch them. You’re only able to watch a replay if the leaderboard is located in rivals. Since homologation leaderboards for some unknown reason aren’t located in rivals, it’s impossible to watch replays.

Thanks for the replies guys. That’s a real bummer. Trying to learn and find where to improve. Hopefully a feature for future games in the series.
