Can’t say you’re wrong there.
Ok I’m just going to put my ‘non-binary’, ‘autistic’ point of view in here:
Advertising for political topics is definitely not a negativ thing, I’m definitely positiv towards activism and freedom of opinion and pro democracy. Also I’m against discrimination, hatred and especially any support of right radical stuff.
With this said, I can 100% understand the people who think this is offensive, because Trump is pretty much a perfect symbol of ignorance in our current day world, I mean he literally tried to overturn the democratic system and accused the country of a huge voter fraud. He’s a wanna be dictator and luckily a pretty unsuccessful one.
On the other hand if we ban all political content from Forza, then we would also have to ban any pride flag or black lives matter liveries, because that is also political activism and considering how positive Microsoft, Xbox and Playground Games have been towards inclusivity and LGBT stuff, this would be kinda counter productive to ban.
The only question that remains is:
Should we ban content, that promotes radical or violent politics?
And keep in mind there is also radical or violent politics from the left.
And somebody would have to clearly state where ‘radicalism’ starts, which is pretty hard.
TLDR: I don’t think politics should be censored.
There’s no reason we should be censoring politics in this game. It doesn’t matter what your opinions on the guy are, it isn’t offensive and it shouldn’t be a censored or banned topic for a livery.
The livery isn’t hurting anyone, there’s no reason to be getting this upset about it. I wouldn’t put political liveries on my cars - not my style - but I don’t have an issue with anyone who does. Frankly, this is a really silly thing to try so hard to report.
I think that’s a can of worms best left closed on here, the thread would inevitably just end up getting ugly.
I don’t see how. These designs don’t cause any “trouble”, it’s not hurting anyone. It’s someone driving their virtual Unimog in a virtual festival with a virtual political livery. Let them be. I wouldn’t bat an eye at this if I saw it in game.
There’s no way to really cause “trouble” with it. It’s a game.
Just because It’s not Offensive To you Doesn’t mean its not To others you need to see the Bigger picture But I understand why its not to most of majority of people
How is it offensive to anyone? Genuine question. Trump is a divisive political figure, but do you (or whatever group you are referring to) get genuinely offended by seeing his image on a livery in a video game? If so, that’s completely absurd and Forza should not have to cater to that level of absurdity.
Exactly!! As long its not sexual or showing anything erotic & no moobies trying to keep it PG
Exactly. If we banned every design that somebody might have a chance of being offended by, this would be one depressing livery editor.
Does it help if I actually thought at first it was Peter Griffin?
No Do not Find it offensive however It Depends what T10 Thinks is allowed on there platform in there code of conduct
Hmm, now you say that I’ve never seen both of them in the same room at the same time…
I was thinking more Chris lol.
Also it’s on a Unimog, it’s not like anybody’s ever going to be behind them for long anyway
As long as Everyone Respects Each other & peoples opinion views and critiques no Harassment no Bullying insulting Hate speech Ect
Politics are not allowed… EOD.
But Forza HAS been catering to just that level of insanity, for years.
Sadly, due to the rules here I don’t think that i am allowed to give you specific examples, but yeah trust me, banning someone who made a picture of Donald Trump, would be well within the scope.
And besides, if you look at the rules, everything is written as ‘including but not limited to…’
Sadly…
Rated E for everyone, or something.
I did a search for “Trump” in liveries and I was surprised at how little was there. I imagine they are removing political ads. I see it enough elsewhere so good riddance.
If that’s Forza’s policy I’m definitely not against it, I’m a bit tired of politicising everything.
Those refer to countries
