I’m not trying to spread hate or anything but I’d rather not have my profile picture as the lgbtq flag, but I don’t know how to change it.
Try opening the Xbox App, click your gamertag, hover over your avatar and Edit. After saving, Log out of the forums and back in. If this doesn’t update your avatar on the forums within 24 hours please report back so we can look more closely at the sync process.

Hi. Same problem. Carried out above instructions. Xbox app profile picture is good. No update to forum profile.

Follow-up: there appears to be an issue on our side with syncing to the Xbox profile image. We’re investigating and want to get this fixed but I don’t have an ETA on it at this time.

I still can’t change / update it on the forums 
It be nice if it was just added to the profile settings.

Custom backgrounds dont work on the forums from my testing. Although if you set your xbox profile to a default xbox profile pic or an avatar pic it seems to work. Once you got the new profile you like you can add your custom one back.

It seems to be an issue with that’s confined to custom profile images only.
If you change to a default xBox profile image, it seems to update just fine, but it’s ignoring the custom images unfortunately 
Edit:
It also looks like changing to a default xBox profile image, then back to a custom image, updates the “myForza” profile image, but not the Forza forum profile image, leaving me with 3 different profile images.
Could be a CND issue?

I too am having this exact same problem.
I’m also having this issue. My Xbox pic is a picture I took of a Ferrari 812 Superfast, but on here it’s a reel-to-reel recorder. Much the sadness.

I, unfortunately, do too have the same issue, however, I can see the custom profile image only on the Xbox website and their apps. I can still see the old one on both Forza.net and Forza Forums. I tried signing out and logging back on all of them but that didn’t help.
Having the same problem here as well. Tried logging out of the forum, cleared browser cookies/cache, reloaded page, logged back in, and it’s still loading my previous gamerpic. No dice.
