My 8 year old son is using Forza 5. He wants to buy tokens so that he can upgrade his car. I cannot find where to purchase tokens for this game. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!
I think you hit the Y button but the feature might not be available as the game has been removed from the xbox store and the dlc delisted. Not sure but I assume the tokens are no longer available.
If your son runs some laps either in Free Play or in Rivals he will earn credits, which can also be used to upgrade his car. Upgrades aren’t nearly as expensive as buying a new car (unless he is looking into upgrade to ANOTHER car), so it won’t take too long before he has enough credits to upgrade his ride. Even if he wants a new car to try though, it only took me a few hours total play before I had enough to buy from a pretty good selection if mid priced cars. The more expensive cars will of course take much longer to work up to.
There are also about 10 free cars he can get, just go to Buy Cars and scroll all of them, you will see which are labeled as free, no tokens OR creds needed
