How can i take a saved race replay and upload it to this forum?

Hi i would like to know how i can do this. All i have is an xbox x and an iphone with xbox app on it. Any help would be appreciated. I would like to know what my options are.

I’ve tried just recording gameplay on my xbox while watching the replay but it doesn’t record for long enough.

Stream it, then save the stream locally.

I don’t know with Apple, but with android you can remote play and record your video from the phone screencapture. Is better than nothing.
Or take a converter from HDMI to TypeC, USBcamera on the phone and then screencapture. But it doesn’t always work.
Use a Elgato, but you need a PC
Last; Use a DVD recorder, but I think they are extinct .

You can record for up to an hour at a time if you record to a USB flash drive. You can pick one up for probably 10 bucks or so.

I don’t know if you can then upload the resulting video straight to YouTube directly from the Xbox (I’ve used this method previously when I was a console user, but I would always transfer the file to my PC for editing before uploading). Might be worth looking into.

I wonder if they make flash drives for lightning port/usb

Can someone tell me where my replay goes when I share it in game?

It goes stays on the Forza servers. You cannot “export” replays.

Sharing it just means other players can view it in the replays menu (just like sharing tunes/ liveries.)
