I want to take a few photos of some cars I designed while they are on the track at the same time. Is there a way to do this? I’ve tried in split screen and tried by creating a custom online game but neither had an option for photo mode.
The only real method is to get a friend (or a bunch of friends) to join a private custom lobby and either race as normal or drive into poses - this is much easier with a mic each. If the designs aren’t available on your storefront then you can gift them to your friends if you trust them with your work, or arrange to auction them to them so that the design stays locked.
At the end of the race, make sure to save the replay (be careful here, I’ve lost many good photo opportunities by blindly pressing A when the race finishes and forgetting to save the replay lol). Then exit the lobby, go to My Profile > Media > My Replays and find the one(s) you just saved. Play the replay, and use the controls to get the replay camera to in-game cameras and select the car you want to watch as. When you see a photo opportunity, pause the replay, use LT and RT to slowly rewind/forward to the exact point and then press the take photo button to enter photomode and take pics as usual.
Alternatively if you’re good at Photoshop or other image editing software you can take photos in single player in the same position and stitch them together as either a panorama or by making it look like all the cars are in one scene, although this requires more time, skill and effort than arranging a group shoot if you want to get good results.
if youre in a club, you can share your cars in the club garage and have friends use your cars to do a photo shoot. this will only work if all designs have been made by you. you can not share locked cars in your club garage.
