Horizon Realms and Nissan Retro Rides Car Pack | April 2025

1989 Nissan Pao, 1991 Nissan Figaro, 1989 Nissan Scargo, 1987 Nissan Be-1…

…car roster in Forza feels more Gran Turismo-ish than Gran Turismo itself these days

At this point I’ll be really surprised (and maybe slightly disappointed) if Forza Horizon 6 doesn’t take us to Japan

(P.S. Oh dear, new emotes?)

Well, normally I’d be moaning about another Huracan and groaning about no Primeras in a Nissan heritage pack…

But I can work with an offroad Huracan :dark_sunglasses: and I do like that Nissan pack. So all is good. :+1:

It was stated in your Horizon Realm update notes that those who have purchased the Ultimate Car Pack will get the new Nissan Retro DLC pack for free.

My question and concern is —— what about those players who have been playing FH5 since day one and have purchased all DLC car packs individually - before the Ultimate Car Pack even existed?

Are they not entitled to the same rewards for spending all their money to support the game for the past 3.5 years by purchasing every car pack individually??

Does the support of these long-time Xbox and PC players/FORZA fans mean NOTHING??

I believe all players who bought - either all the individual car packs or the ultimate car pack - need to be treated fairly and equally.

1. Will Xbox future consoles get similar upgrades to PS5 Pro’s graphical enhancements in the future?

2. Will Horizon Realms be accessible offline for Free Mode and Skill Mode solo players?

Glad for all new and veteran players at least that there is no more egregious FOMO with this update. A good step in the right direction!

In the meantime I’ll just sit and rot for sixty days

Yeah, this is the only thing I’m rather upset with in regards to this news. The Ultimate Car Pack itself was already a giant kick to the stomach considering how much money is saved when buying it instead of buying the car packs individually, especially since none of us consumers had any idea such a bundle would ever come at such a nicer price. This freebie pack but only for Ultimate Car Pack owners just feels like more salt in the already gapping wound. I’d say hindsight is 20/20, but I don’t think that quite applies here.

At least Horizon Realms will bring something somewhat new to do and at the player’s own pace, which is a welcomed change. Here’s hoping it’s a small prototype for either a more conventional career mode, or a reformatted live service for Horizon 6.

I was checking the promo shot for the news cars and I noticed the Huracan Sterrato is damaged on the right fender, even the right headlight is broken :joy::joy:

For PC AMD FSR 3 and framegen too thanks…

This and the oval circuit are my favorite!
Made a stadium circuit myself too.

Hello is this update going to address the Evolving World , Pathfinder Accolade? I am locked out and have been trying to obtain the Morris Minor series II Traveller this way. I hope this is addressed specially now with the PS5 intro. Thanks.

As per my previous post, I find the wording a little confusing too. It’s not clear to me whether the Nissan Retro Rides Car Pack will be added to the Ultimate Car Pack Collection, or if we’re looking at some kind of time-limited deal, where only those who have already purchased the Collection (either pre-announcement or, more likely, pre-launch) get it for free. My best guess is that the new DLC will be added to the Collection, however, the price of the bundle might increase at that time, hence the wording ‘at no extra cost’ if you purchased the Collection before then; it’d be nice to have this theory confirmed though.

I can understand your frustration about still having to buy it even if you own all the individual DLCs; it’s a shame that the MS Store/Xbox doesn’t treat the Collection in the same way that Steam does (whereby, I presume, owning all the DLC results in you automatically owning the Collection).

Regarding Realms being playable offline: I really hope so and I don’t see why it wouldn’t; assuming that is the case, it’s pretty much exactly what I was hoping for, ie a way to experience all the Evolving World content, whenever I want.

For me this Nissan retro car pack is a strange choice by the developers  But it might be me being strange and the majority just love it :face_with_peeking_eye:

Maybe we need to wait for the return of Explore the Horizon series.

I agree entirely, it is unfair, more so when you consider we paid more for the individual packs in total than the Ultimate Car Pack Collection costs.

I’m so tried of people hijacking threads for their own pretty personal complaints.

Really liking the support and add-on for this. Very interesting car pack as it amazes me that anyone at playground (or Turn 10) could find them to scan in the first place. Getting permission to scan them can’t be easy either.

I was very pleased to see a few new cars to usher in the PS5 era of FH5. Wasn’t expecting it to happen.
