As it has been said before, the backstage pass is a neat feature for those who are looking for cars they’ve missed in the past, but it has little value for thos who already own everything.
And I hope they don’t include PO cars, because those are broken. And I bet you don’t want to drive a Ford Focus with a bodykit that makes it look like a tank.
The 599 has been available a couple times, I don’t think I’ve seen the Porsche recently…vote Porsche
This is a pretty good solution to the problem “I want to buy this car but it isn’t available and I hate having to wait months to see if it rolls around again”…the store will slowly fill up with exclusive cars and so long as you put in the 50% each month you can get one of those cars free.
This must be a way to help people get exclusive cars when they simply can’t complete the Trials so they might never get the 80% level on either Monthly or Weekly if they aren’t doing ranked adventures.
Probably also means we’re within the zone for FH4 to be end of life in 18 to 24mos, maybe…
BUMMER!! … The Best I have ever done so far is 15%. Big issue is I still can’t beat the New-Bots consistently, so no way to beat any of those Unbeatable Racers.
Dude, you cant eve reach 50% of the festival playlist completion?? i would be worried if it was something like 80%. I sometimes dont reach not even 80% to almost impossible stunt pr’s (like the drift one of this week) and because i hate online playing in this game and i try to avoid it everytime i can. But 50%??? thats too easy even for me lol.
What pisses me off about this game is that the devs make the rewards available only to really experienced players. And i hate it. I always end up at 77% because i just cant complete drift pr stunts, the online adventure (i hate it) and probably another pr stunt or the playground games. I just dont understand why the devs cant give us more options to complete the festival playlist. They are forcing us to do things we dont like to just get a lousy rewards. Why they cant add more events to let us choose what we want to do and those who we have the more fun of? i dont get it.
You guys are serious ? Nothing in the playlist is even remotely difficult. Basically you want to be rewarded for participation … imo lets have more of a challenge not less … reward players for being good at the game. Like the monthly rivals event, can we have minimum time or top 10%, completion for just participation is for Kindergarden.
I think the only really good month of the Playlist was September 2019 or whichever the month with the route creator contest winners was. The rest is just repetitive and useless. And like you said, for skilled people, it’s too easy.
Besides, in old games usually the unlockables were worth the effort. In FH4 on the other hand you win random stuff that’s exclusive only to exploit our “fear of missing out or FOMO”, lol. Even in FH3 most of the exclusives were useful HE cars.
FH4 reminds me a lot of the 4th generation of Pokémon with its million legendaries and convuluted ways to evolve certain monsters.
Not really. All the 80% rewards started as either Forzathon selections or previous series 50% rewards, or they’re auto show cars.
Getting 80% isn’t even that hard, especially since Games is now participation. Trial you can just be a participant as long as you get a good team and they win. Rivals and Adventure is really only participation as well because most Rivals times are just people sitting still and Adventure is just a completion bonus.
Drift PR stunts are rarely used, I’m happy they finally included one after so long, just get a drift car and you’ll get it.
No, I think this means that you can ignore anything you can’t actually complete easily, like the Trials let’s say. My guess is the backstage pass will be the permanent 50% completion goal at the Monthly Level. Remember it’s 50% completion of the monthly goals, the Season itself, not 50% per week. You can earn one free car a Month, not one per week.
Now, I’m going to hope you can beat the 3 races each week against “Highly Skilled” drivers…all you need to do is complete 2 weeks of those (or some mixture so long as you hit 50% completion for the month) and I think you’ll hit 50% each month, get the pass and pick from the cars available. It makes it even easier for people to get exclusive cars.
As to the person who said “Its only going to be Civic R’s every time”, this is a new store…once they choose the Civic R, the Civic R will remain available in the backstage pass area for people new-to-the-game to choose. Think of it like a new autoshow, its going to get more additions every month (week?)…and those cars will persist. The caveat is that you’ll only ever be able to buy a car once so you can’t flood the auction house. The auction house, probably, is going to be very different…no rare car will command much value in it anymore unless its brand new or not yet available in the Backstage area.
Thanks very much for the clarification about weekly & monthly (I didn’t even notice there were 2 different sets of challenges). Unfortunately, as I said in an earlier response I can just barely beat New Racer Bots in most races (no problem with Unbeatable at the drag strip). Optimistic that when I get Weekly vs Monthly sorted out, I might be able to get to 50%. Not beating myself up over it as even though I am long retired and I like the game, I still just play it casually each day, Maybe a bit more on bad weather days.
Cheers to all who were kind enough to take the time to respond to my posts.
No shame in not being able to win…some suggestions:
AWD is your friend if you are struggling, particularly in the higher/faster classes, pretty sure any car can be converted if you have the 10k credits handy to do so in the upgrades section.
Use the hood/bonnet or in-car views instead of the behind-the-car views against AI…you have a better sense of when to start braking and when to turn. Also they are AI racers so don’t be afraid to barge them off the road Rubbin is Racing so the saying goes…
Brakes. Use them If you’re sliding, you’re slowing down.
Finally, also remember you don’t need to come in first in all 3 races, generally.
The challenges such as “Jump this far” or “goes this fast through this speed zone/trap” can be harder if you don’t have the right cars for the job. I remember hating them until I figured out which 2-3 cars you need in your garage to make it easier to do them. YouTube videos can also help show you ways to complete specific objectives, some of those seasonal challenges can be harder than others.
only 15%, how is that even possible
rival is worth 6%
the pr stunts are 6% each…so 18%
photo op is 3%
the weekly forzathon challenge is 15%
dailies ar 1% each, and you get 3 days for each
pgg is now participation only, another easy 6%
qualifying for ranked is only 1 adventure now, and participation only, another easy 15%
community championships 3 x 6% bots are highly skilled not Unbeatable
the trial is 6% and quite often you can just be a participant to get that too, so many people are bad at this
Here is my suggestion of weekly tasks for you to achieve 50% and avoid unbeatable racers.
Photo challenge
Forzathon weekly
Most if not all of the Forzathon daily challenges
Monthly Rivals (just take it nice and slow and stay on the track. You don’t have to beat anyone)
Online Adventure. (Again, you don’t have to beat anyone, just endure to the end)
Seasonal Playground game. (just stick it out till the end. Your team doesn’t have to win anymore, so you just have to stay at it until the end)
PR Stunt: Danger zone. Get the right car with the right tune and you are golden for each week.
PR stunt: Speed trap: Again, the right car (preferably a great S2 or X) with the right tune, and you are good to go
You don’t have to do all of those, to get 50%. Just pick the ones you want. Forzathon Weekly as well as the Online adventure are usually worth about 15% each, so completing those gives you 30%. Now just do the photo for 2%. and then choose any 3 from Rivals, Playground, danger zone, speed trap (which are usually about 6% each). or get about 6 of the dailies which are 1% each instead of one of the others that are worth 6%.
