I hope this is the right section for this but I was wondering if there is any retailer to pre-order the Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition SteelBook in Canada.

Are you sure about that? As I know you get it from GameStop in the US who owns EB Games, but there is no mention of the SteelBook on the EB Games listing: https://www.ebgames.ca/Xbox%20One/Games/724379/forza-horizon-3-ultimate-edition-with-eb-exclusive-bonus
There is no steel case in Canada. I also wanted it, but, unfortunately, EB Games is not offering it. I’m lucky. I live in Vancouver, very close to the border

I don’t understand why it is so difficult to get this question answered by Microsoft, Forza, or any other entity involved in the production of this game . It would appear that they are only interested in getting our money for this product and don’t care at all about the confusing matrix of versions vs locations that has everybody wondering what they will actually receive after they spend their money.
I too am interested in getting the SteelBook edition because unless I guess incorrectly, it would definitely contain a disc verses a download code. I’m not interested in downloading games, there is no practical purpose that I can see, in that I have had instances in the past that digital content that I paid for “went missing” on my XBox One console and Microsoft did nothing but scratch their head and say they can’t understand how or why that happened, and at the end of they day did nothing to rectify the problem.
Horizon is by far my favorite driving franchise, but I’m losing interest in this next version simply because no representative seems to be taking an interest in this discussion. More proof that all they want is your money, having no interest at all in the customer experience or satisfaction.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but ding ding ding!!!.. just like every other business that develops products, companies like T10 and Playground need money to be able to survive, and to also develop awesome games like FH3 for us to enjoy - if they really wanted to give us a fast cash grab, they could’ve simply either given us an 8 bit version of FH3 or start a gofundme page.
This dark silence that is happening now is nothing new - it’s occurred when past Forza games were weeks away from releasing too - T10 probably does this to increase suspense, not give away too much of the game (as it would probably ruin the experience for some people if they knew certain things about the game that were best found out while playing the game themselves) and maybe give us some surprises when we do finally get our hands on the game, as demos and press reviews hardly slice into a good portion of what the game has to offer. I myself am refraining from playing the demo or reading press previews because I want to be surprised at what FH3 has to offer.
