I was thinking about this when I unlocked the new Hot Wheels Firebird. In Forzavista, you can open the hood and look at the engine. This will remove the hood as with race cars to reveal the engine and chassis underneath. I really like this look and would love to drive around like this in freeroam.
It would be cool to add this with other cars too like JDM and US muscle cars. But I think some will (or may) need to have an engine dress up kit to make the engines look nice instead of showing a stock 2.0 engine with black plastic covers and tubing. That’s why I added it these 2 in the title because I feel if you add hood deletes, dress up kits will need to be considered as well.
It would work very well with the Hoonigan and Formula Drift cars too because they have awesome looking engines that are highly detailed.
In the car scene it’s not uncommon to see people showing off their car without a hood. I think it can look pretty cool, especially if they put work in the engine.
