The car is planned to debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Bro it’s not a concept, I mean it may be but doesn’t look a concept, just looks a normal car with mirrors, I mean is pre production. So technically yeah I’m wrong.
Yeah as a Porsche guy that’s true.
「Tokyo Auto Salon 2025」Exhibition Overview | Honda Corporate Information Site(JP)
PRELUDE prototype will be unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2025. It looks like we’ll see a car more closer to the production model.
I hope they’ll have a right-hand drive model.
A question for everyone who voted / commented on this car: Are you specifically asking for the original white 2024 concept version, a newer prototype version (in pictures and comments), or the new Honda Prelude in general added in the game (including the production model)?
I’m asking this because the 2026 Prelude production model launch is imminent and I have already added the production version to FM car topic submissions.
The reason why I’m specifically interested in production car is all the OEM colors and possible Honda upgrades (spoilers etc.) as an upgrade option. Some of those were probably already shown in different prototypes. Later black prototype had a new spoiler not seen before and I’m pretty sure it will be a production car spoiler option among with these other versions. Plus, seeing ten one-off-concept-type vehicles in one starting grid just looks weird for me, because, realism. But that’s just me. ![]()
Honda has already confirmed production version will have S+ Shift technology and for driving fun manual shift mode would be great.
I would prefer the production version of the car, as that should be the one that hopefully reaches the roads.
From what I’ve read, the U.S. version launch will happen this year so it’s a matter of months (max), followed by EU version launch in 2026.
I’d love to see a Japanese spec version, but I’m not hopeful. They don’t seem to recognize it as a car unless it’s a North American spec.
