This issue was mostly fixed in Forza Motorsport 5, because the original Forza Motorsport model was dreadful to say the least. The current NSX NA1 model still needs improvement, because most of the body is still considerably disproportionate. It’s a fact that this is one of the better remodels done for FM5, but there’s still huge room for improvement.
The entire front end is too big. It may take a while to notice, but it ends up being off-putting. The front bumper ducts are too big and slightly off shaped. The lights in the bumper are also slightly too big
Either the tire profile is a bit too large, making the wheels look too big, or the wheel diameter is incorrectly shown on the model, yet the sizes are correctly listed in the Upgrade Menu as 15" on the front and 16" on the rear. The track width is definitely incorrect as the wheels should be further into the car, and the rims themselves are incorrectly coloured and slightly incorrectly shaped. There is also something wrong about the wheelarches, but that’s probably due to the front end being too big.
The rear end is mostly fine, no blatant inaccuracies, but it does seem like it’s too “mild”, or some parts are incorrectly scaled. Once again though, the track width is noticeably incorrect, and it doesn’t matter which NSX trim is used for comparison.
However, one glaring issue arises as soon as the Rocket Bunny Widebody Kit is applied. This Kit significantly shortens the rear end of the car. In Forza, this is not the case, and the dimensions remain identical.
Another issue is the lack of Factory Colours. Only one is available, in the form of Championship White. At least eight more colours were available for this version of the NA1 NSX, in the form of: Charlotte Green Pearl, Neutron White Pearl, Kaiser Silver, Berlina Black, Sebring Silver, Grand Prix White, Formula Red, Indy Yellow Pearl. Just make sure they have the correct shade and texture, because the NA2 Colours are ruined.
Overall, while the Motorsport 5 remodel the two NA NSXes got was extensive, these models can still be improved. And the Rocket Bunny Kit needs a massive fix. A full rescan would go a long way, because then the fully scanned model could be modified to resemble other trims of the NA1 NSX, such as the base 1991 model, or the NSX-T, or the NSX Type-S Zero. You can do it!
