Hit or Miss after race Results/XP/Credits?

Like I put in the title, getting to see your after race results, xp, or credits is hit or miss regardless if solo or co-op. You never know what you’ll see or not see.

QC/QA should have found this before release of the game!

Why let us dress up when game skips the podium finishes?

I only got podium finishes if the race result changes my player level. At least in single player races.

Don’t have enough multiplayer races to I can figure out what are the rules there to have such an animation.

Oh - totally forget - silly thing is for clean rounds on rivals you will always get a podium finish at the end of the event.

As above, Podiums only occur if your Player Level changes when playing solo events…and the Clean Rivals Lap. Any other time and your credits and XP will simply display on the screen when you return to free roam. Online events, there is always a podium after the event (far as I recall)

In rivals, you can do a dirty lap, fail to beat the ghost you were racing, exit early (I just did all this) and it still comes up with the podium screen and calls you a WINNER! Even though you won nothing and aren’t levelling up yet.

But if you are the actual winner of a race in career mode, you get no screen. Seems daft.

Yeah I assume this is ‘won’t fix, by design’ but why design it like that?

Because seeing useless animation gets old very quickly and if level doesn’t go up there’s nothing to see or nothing that can’t be shown on screen when you return to free roam.

Like Nursemorph says, making us look at (or listen to) useless stuff doesn’t usually faze these designers. I get fed up of the four second camera panning animation every time I fast travel and can’t drive or use the map. And all the other nonsense they could cut out but don’t.

Removing the Podium except in certain circumstances reduces the amount of time not spent racing as we don’t have to sit through the podium…of course, that’s a strange one given every other game choice seems to have been to prolong how much time is spent in loading screens etc to reduce time racing/force players to stay in game longer to bloat global playing time statistics for marketing reasons

Exactly. I liked how it was done in FH3, simple and neat.

Back in the days before accolades and forza points were a thing. (I also liked how once you got to the gold rank, you didn't get it snatched away from you when you were forced to 'prestige').
