Higher maximum hp upgrades

I have always felt most cars are underpowered, even after upgrades, i have a few examples, Toyota MR2 stock engine can only reach 663 hp in game compare to real life were the records is beyond 1000hp, the same story is with the honda engines and 4G63 engines both types can reach 1600-1800 hp, but in game they are stuck below 800hp…ridculus, i would love for every car modell in the game to have the ability to make 400-600 hp more then they make today to be more realistic to the real ones.

You’re gonna have to get in line behind the American V8s that are drastically underpowered. It’s all about engine swaps in Forza, and has been for years…

Still belive that many engine can reach higher levels

They need to add more tuning options or more powerful (drag) parts beyond the race parts. FM1 used to have a separate ECU tuning category. Would be cool to bring it back for some more hp and torque.

That is an excellent suggestion, i agree with all.

Honestly, it’s not even just ECU (as many of the older cars don’t even have ECUs to begin with. It’s the maximum potential HP a “race” part gives the stock engine, currently they are just way too low. I can home build a big block Chevy at 652 CI and reach 1k HP on a dyno easy. In game, not anywhere close.

That’s why I’ve suggested adding Drag parts beyond Race parts which would add enough hp to build a 1500-2500hp engine

This just shows that the 3 tiers of upgrades Forza has had since its inception (FM1) are kind of outdated now. We need a new upgrade system with more tiers of parts and enhanced tuning.

I really wouldn’t want them to be classified as just “drag” parts, as parts of that type can be used for many different things (Land Speed/Salt Flats, Auto Cross, Drag, etc.).

I have just made a Suggestion that may or may not be expanding upon yours. Go check it out here

Totally agree, kinda limited making a drag build. People push far more horsepower In real life than allowed in Forza. It would be sick to have name brand engines In game rather than the few basics they have.
