Has anyone else had this problem with one of the songs in the in-race music? It’s a lovely orchestral song that builds to a big crescendo, then when it drops I’m left with this high pitched, nails on a chalkboard, piercing screech coming out of my speakers for 5-10 seconds until the song moves on. Is it a bug with the audio or something? I’ve only heard it during this one specific song. Has anyone else noticed this? I love the game, but this song/sound literally gives me a headache while I’m playing. Am I crazy or have others heard this as well?
I think no one has answered yet because most of us race with the music off. A couple of the cars are still hard to hear and shift by since the sound patch.
I leave the music on because I think its hillarious racing with my friends while having action movie music playing in the background. Racing has never felt so epic!
However, I’ve never heard the problem with the music you’ve described. I play with the sound rather low though because there are people in my house who find the sound of a car engine for 15 minutes straight to be like nails on a chalk board
Understandable, I leave it on because I really do like the score for the game, but I think I’m going to turn it off just to fix this noise. I’ll try playing with headphones too to see if that at least isolates the problem to televisions
