Hide and Seek game mode added September 2024

I really don’t see the point of accolades anymore considering all the cheaters on the leaderboards. It used to be yeah cool, I’ll see how high I can get, now it’s why bother…

They’ve posted a new Youtube Short that says “Forza Horizon 5 Hide and Seek Gameplay” with footage of a box truck https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7p5IpmB6zmA

but they’ve already confirmed the car list for hide and seek?

If you are referring to this line here
grafik
that is the “related video” you can define for people to click on and watch another of yours instead of swiping further to the next short.

I had the chance to play since release and I think it was within week pretty much just a top cheaters list. Ultimately pointless, kinda like Kudos-counter, where’s just a number only you can see.

Then how do you know its not busy other times?

LOL

PS big lobbies, lots of people enjoying the eliminator

Ahh got it thanks, so its not even related to the main video

I still dont understand why they keep showing non playable cars in their shorts. They did this with the Saleen S5S raptor too and the box truck is a NPC vehicle

Yep, I’ve been playing a lot of Eliminator lately. (Even though you recently beat me in a Head-to-Head…)

But yeah, this hide-and-seek thing does seem interesting.

I don’t and I didn’t say it wasn’t. I merely noted my personal experience. Also if you look carefully, you will see that I was replying to someone who said it wasn’t as busy as FH4. My reply pointed out the times when I found it busy, nothing more. If you want to score points, go somewhere else.

FH4 recently sold tons because of the news of its delisting hence the activity

Sorry bout that

Heh, nothing to be sorry about Fishie. That’s how it is!

They showed off the Box Truck again!

“Too old” you say, at 65 I thought I was the oldest relic here :grinning: :+1:

So, can someone actually explain how seekers and hiders actually win?

I played 3 games so far and thought I figured out the rules but….

The seekers won twice by getting to %100 percent but the third time %100 didn’t end the match.

The second match the hider reached the “score zone” orange circle but the match didn’t end. The seekers were still close to the hider but didn’t matter if the hider used his power up. Game didn’t end until the seekers reached %100.

So, hider EMP disabled their ability to win here?

I’m confused to be honest. What’s the specifics here?

Hide & Seek should be renamed to Run & Chase! In 95% of the games, instead of hiding, the hider is just trying to outrun the seekers as far as possible.

one of the accolades is " Win as a hider without going over 60 mph " that’s gonna give me some high blood pressure.

I was in a game as a hider in Playa Azul with only one seeker, who wasn’t moving at all, but I didn’t know about this accolade. I could have completed it easily! Now that I’m aware, I’ve tried at least 8 times as a hider, but still no success.

this has been my feeling since they first tried to explain it

Just finishing off the 25 games as Seeker and 5 as Hider for my final two accolades and decided to check something out.

I was the Hider just now and to get it over with ASAP I drove towards the Seekers, from the 1st one getting to me to the game finishing was 66 seconds, by which time of course all of them were around me.

That is a ridiculous amount of time required when you’re only given 4 minutes before the Hider can make their way to the finish, which usually only gives you an extra minute or so at best.
