Can someone tell me what a “Highest Streak” is, or how to increase in its levels. This is for the badges.
Just the number of games you do without rage quitting or getting disconnected
Just to be clear after a game has finished you can go off and do something else do not quit during an actve game

The new achievements do not kick in until Tuesday maybe the count will come back after that
I have not checked my badges recently

Just about to check on my game
Current streak 166
Current level 207
mine has not been increased after in total 12 games (streak i mean)
Did two games streak 168 level 209
Cannot check badges for streaks because I have them
No idea what is wrong with you game 
since yesterday before i started to play it said in the start menu of h&s ‘Current Streak: 14’ then below ‘Highest streak: 41’ now after i played 2 times 6 games ‘Current Streak: 21’ ‘Highest Streak: 41’ so i don’t increase in the badges (41)

So your streak must have broken at some point. You’ve gone up from 14 to 21 with your gameplay yesterday but haven’t reached 41 so that’s still your highest.
Make sure you always finish the hide and seek game without quitting and I’d advise also shut down game properly each time you leave it
I didn’t check but have a sneaky suspicion this has affected me; I’ve not quit a game so far but got the impression my streak didn’t increase
so, yes, it’s also generally good advice that I (usually) follow!

So if i understand, if you stop playing H&S you must shut the game and not doing anything else anymore? Then restart if you wanna Continue playing. Is that correct?
Just close the game at the end of playing whether hide and seek, racing, etc
Quick resume is known to cause issues
it’s basically a question of the game and/or console getting confused if it goes to sleep - it causes problems in quite a few games
the way to deal with it is never use quick-resume, always exit the game to the home screen
