Help me with PC video settings

I have a I5 2400 @3.1 ghz, nvidia gtx 760 4 gb, 8 gb (memory)ram. I’ve tried to get to where my game wouldnt studder and also the track disappears and will continue over the course of the race. I know im close to the minimulast requirments but i can run the game at medium dynamic settings but after about 30 minutes my racing studders and then the map disappears ive tried to manually set my settings to something i thought would work but made it even worse, if theres a guru out there that could help figure out what my settings need to i would thank you very well…hard working broke father of 2

Your build is adorable. If you want to know what’s going on with your system, download MSI afterburner and monitor your hardware. If you don’t feel comfortable downloading afterburner, I think windows might have a built in hardware monitor that will even monitor your GPU now. What you want to look for are clock speeds, temps and usage (including ram). My guess is, something in your system (cpu or gpu) is getting to hot after some time, and the clocks are rolling back causing a drop in performance. But you’ll never know until you monitor the hardware and see what’s going on. If you’re not comfortable reading the hardware monitor, you could always play the game until the problems start, take a screenshot of the monitor results, and post them so somebody can help you. 90% of the time people experience performance that degrades over a long period of time, is usually a temp problem, or a memory leak problem.

Hope this helps

I forgot to mention, I do use the msi afterburner and the Gpu/Cpu usage is always bouncing around but also stays consistant over 70%-!00% and temps stay under the 68 celceuis mark but i notice that over time my ram builds up from 6554 to around 7600, i know thats around where the cap out is for the ram but thats over time with nothing else running on the pc while running the game. and thank you for admiring my struggling rig, it stills holds out with the best and sometimes better then some new rigs

This is possibly the most delusional comment of the day.

First, set everything on lowest value. Then start increasing one by one setting until it goes bad again. After that go back step or two and you are above 60fps.

ive went to very low then to low then to medium i dont go past recommended because i know that wil put to much strain on my low end pc it’ll be fine untill about the 20-30 minute mark thats when my ram starts to jump up to the 7500 mark…i know how to throttle down the games perfomance but stepping down the quality but i would like to be able to setup the game to were i can have a decent quality of the tracks and cars without looking like a nintendo 64 game

I actually have the same problem on my gtx 980/ ryzen 1600 / 16 GB ram rig. After a race or two performance would degrade a lot and redoing the benchmark or any race would show a lot lower FPS.
