No it doesn’t.
A friend of mine got this for me when we both played the game on launch date.
In a career race in Laguna Seca, he turned around and hit a concrete wall with quite some speed, flipped and got the achievement.
@OP: Going through the achievements, I don’t see one with 50 overtakes, just 125 perfect passes.
Care to elaborate?
Anyways, I you want to lap opponents, go to Free Play and race some laps on the Indianapolis Oval with AI set to the lowest difficulty.
Try 20 laps and see how many opponents you can lap, then vary.
Get a SUV. Put on springs. Lower rebound/damping to lowest. Go to Lemans or Spa and make a handbrake when at high speed right before a corner. Try hitting grass/sand.
50 cars one is for lapping slower cars in multiclass races. Check the career races, there are about 5 or 6 multiclass races. Just keep re-running them until you reach the target (the laps accumulate, you don’t need to do it in one race).
I got mine door to door. I was Bernese Alps, going down the hill right before the tunnel, got off the track while i was trying to turn left, got sideways, and the tires griped the dirt or grass and i started rolling
I went to the Top Gear test track loop, went down the long straight away along the right side of the track and e-brake turned it into the grass and rolled it many times. Took 2 tries but ended up working. I did it with a Ford F-150 Raptor. Since it needs to be front to back, you will need to steer the car properly to do it. It can’t be barrel rolling side to side.
Another way that my friend did to get it was make a wheelie tuned car and have a me park at the top of the hill in the beginning of the Airfield Test Track (full circuit) and use his wheelie tune to bounce over my car. It launched him up and flipped him end over end a few times. I have a tune for a Ford F-150 Raptor that if you want, I will post how to build it. It is just fully upgraded and a little bit of messing around with the suspension.
Thanks for the kind replies and tips. I have managed to get them now.
It still is not possible to get the badge for ‘Win a gold medal with a 1977 Firebird Trans AM’. I now have won many races but did not get the achievement in iconic affinity.
for the flipping, i took a heavily upgraded peugeot 205 (although i guess any light, low bumpered short wheelbase car should do), with a low front bumper and low ride height, and at the top gear test track went from the far right hand corner of the runway at the second to last corner, and went flat out towards the hammerhead (the wrong way) and aimed to the right hand side of the track where the thick metal plates are and hit one of those at 130+. You get some interesting air time too…
I flipped a Volkswagen Bug playing split screen multiplayer and got the achievement I took it onto the Oval track and was going down the main straight way and I started to rock it back and forth and when it got really loose I turned hard left and it rolled over and over again super easy.
