Im sure there is a FAQ but for the life of me I cant find it. How does one go about loading some of the tunes that these people have done? When playing with a car i often see about 10 options I can choose for a tune, but never one from a person in this lobby?

search them from the load a tune page
If you like a tune someone is using in a lobby you need to wait until you are in the intermission. Then scroll to the left, highlight their name, and select it with the ‘A’ button. There you will see an option to “download paint” and “download tune” if the option is present - ie: they have a tune or paint that is shared active.
To find tunes you can go to the tuning icon or the upgrade icon in the TUNE tab. From there you can press the view button to search for tunes. There will be some that automatically appear based on whether or not they are your friends, Turn 10 select, and most recently added. From here you can press the view button again to select search parameters you use to look for a tune.
