I have quite a severe hearing impairment, as a guess I would say I’m at about 30% of what you might call normal hearing. Try as I might I can not find a suitable headset for use with the Xbox one unless I wear my over the ear hearing aids which as you might imagine gets very uncomfortable very quickly.
I would like to ask if anyone knows of a headset that has a built in amplifier or one that you know works well with hearing aids bearing in mind not all headsets will work well with hearing aids as there can be feedback generated. I have also tried an inline amplifier, the one I used is made by FiiO which works well but does not have a voice line so I’m not able to talk to anyone.
In an ideal world I would like a truely wireless headset but that’s not an absolute requirement. Likewise I use an Elite controller which has the 3.5mm input and the older style attachment input.
It’s also perhaps worth mentioning that I’m in the U.K. so the headset would need to be available here.
