I very much enjoy cruising and exploring every inch of the map, even more than most of the racing. (And yes, I have a drivers license and have had one for over 50 years). I never have had much of a need for (extremely high) speed. I enjoy the barn finds, looking for the bonus boards, etc. One of my most favorite activities in the original Horizon was the weekly treasure hunt that wasn’t even part of the original game, but was an activity where the goal of the week was to find a certain object or location. I found this much more fun than being rammed off a track during a race. But that’s just me.
if you want to cut your engine just run manual w/clutch, you’ll get used to re-starting the engine a lot!! as for headlights, you can always run with full damage turned on and as you run into other vehicles and rocks, you’ll get to drive around at night without headlights!!
I don’t think it’s super necessary in free roam but I’m a big fan of photo mode and would LOVE to have turn indicators as an option in photo mode as the lights are in FH4 where they can be switched on or off
All of the features mentioned already exists within the game, just a matter of implementing it for free roam etc. I don’t see any downside with giving the players more options
I personally would absolutely love turn signals for cruising around the map. Would add quite a bit of authenticity. I actually find the horns to be almost useless but they’re nice to have regardless.
These are exactly the kind of things that i would like to see. Add more immersion, give us more control, make the game actually feel like an evolution of itself.
Test drive unlimited put a lot of focus on such small details and it’s what got me to play it for hundreds of hours. Sadly i think the developers want to keep it simple.
Lmao right right right
The added control of a flashing turn signal toggle is going evolve the game lolololol
Can’t wait to hear what the added control of windshield wipers will do. [MOD EDIT - DUEK - abbreviated cursing could get you sidelined, Please keep these conversations G-Rated]
I’ve got just the thing for all these needy needs, the perfect pill that’d take care of these immersion deficiencies right quick…A several hour rushour commute figting interstate traffic five days a week in some wreck prone to breaking down. Or a rental. You may find that turn signals, wipers and glove boxes suddenly are much less impressive, glamorous, or necessary to play with in a video game.
Though I agree that there are other aspects developers should focus on first before adding content that doesn’t actually enhance (for lack of a better term) the gameplay much, I see no reason why things like turn signals, hazards, wind-shield wipers, windows and such shouldn’t be added some time in the future, especially considering PG has gone half way there adding convertible roofs and horns.
Some people just like the sheer immersion of driving with all these small details, it helps people become enveloped within the world and adds to that escapism. Its why these really immersive sim rigs are becoming more and more popular or why people play games like MS Flight Sim or Euro/American Truck Sim or even why things like VR is gaining prominence.
First of all.. what is your problem? Are you upset, can we help you somehow?
Second of all, who made you the highest authority in the field? Should i send you a request each time my stupid little brain develops a wish or a thought so you can approve it before i post it somewhere?
Entitled like you are, you must be expecting MS to pay for your service on this forum. Unbelievable… I won’t discuss with you because i don’t think you are a person worth discussing with (no offense), but i’ll give you a tip: If you don’t agree with someone’s personal opinions and wishes there is no point in trying to discuss them. You are just looking like a toxic user and a buffoon.
