Anyone else having this issue? It says Joining lobby connecting to server then after a while says disconnected from server.
I am on my 14 day xbox live free trial and it worked just fine the first day i had it but now this for two days straight. Anyone else having these issues?
Yeah, everyone who plays this game online has these problems.
I don’t have a problem GETTING connected, it’s the whole staying connected that’s giving me trouble. Getting kicked from the lobbies has become the norm
I have the same exact issue. I had it when the ghost leagues first started and then it went away but as of last week it started again.
When this happens, try this. Hit the guide button, so that you go back to the Xbox “home” screen. Then, press the start button to bring up the menu, and “quit” the game. Then, relaunch Forza. Once it loads up, try connecting to a lobby / multiplayer again.
I do this and it resolves the “connecting” issues. They typically come back in a few days, at which time I just repeat this process, and I’m good to go. NOTE - you do NOT have to physically restart your console…just the game itself.
Thank you! I will try this once I get home from work. As I stated it happened before but it seemed to resolve itself(which never happens)so perhaps I inadvertently did what you suggested the last time.
Nah Ive done this…Still disconnected same night…This all started with novembers forza update

Had no issues yesterday 12/23. But roday it’s the same thing. Disconnected from server. Merry Christmas!

I’m having the same problem for days. bout ready to go back to Forza 4. can someone let me know what else I can do…
nothin left to do. coming in here and complaining seems to be as far as you can take it. I’m not sure if anyone knows exactly what we are supposed to do. If I didn’t know better I would have said that this is Turn 10 very first attempt at running online gaming.
Can’t connect èither - now seven days in a row that I just get “failed to find a game session” and no restart makes any difference. T10 did mention in another thread that they will look into this problem, but that was way back in October 2015, so not sure if there’s any hope of this getting resolved soon.
I get this often. It’s beyond embarrassing that T10 still haven’t fixed this.
Whenever I get this error message rather than keep trying I’ve figured the best solution is to turn the console on and off again. Never had the problem twice in a row after doing this.
I also get connecting to server…and then that I am not able to connect.
